Pretty cute idea. Can't wait for the day when genome sequencing is boringly routine, like a tongue depressor.
But what about these much-vaunted lab-on-a-chips, with their nano-sized channels for DNA analysis? When are they showing up?
Meanwhile the AFM seems like a commonly enough used tool in research, to be able to really bring down the cost of sequencing.
What say you all? Is this the key enabler that breaks open the doors for widespread genome-sequencing?
