Thanks. I will try that diet and change my sleeping habits/add some aerobic exercises.
Can you suggest a good fish oil without remaining toxic metals for me? I'm currently using L-theanine powder ordered from myprotein.co.uk. It has no or only a slight effect for me. Loose green tea is much better and actually gives me a good relaxed state for a short while. But I can't keep the state up for any longer than about one hour.
They don't sell Adderall here. I could fake the ADD tests and get prescription for Ritalin(?), but I'm pretty damn sure I don't have ADD. And I don't want ADD for my social papers :-) Same goes for Piracetam. It's listed as a medicine and here it is intended just for Cortical myoclonus. I could order it from EU, but its pretty risky. Customs sometimes check the packages and I'll probably get charges if I get caught. It's also pretty damn expensive, ~20-25 dollars for 30 pills of 800mg's I think.
But I will definitely try everything that is prescription-free. Do you think CDP-choline is better than DMAE? What about lecithin? Have you had any noticeable improvements with those nootropics?
There are a number of fish oils out there. I am really not the expert on which are good and which are not. I one I use I buy a my local organic market. One that you might be able to get online is Nordic Naturals. Supposedly it is very good. Just remember you need a good amount of DHA.
Lions Mane is easy to get - there are a number of online sources for it. Can you buy from Amazon USA? There are several sellers on Amazon who sell lions mane. I would also think that any healthcare store in Finland would carry it.
Why can't you get Adderall in your country - Does the Finland government not allow it to be sold there? For what reason? If I were you I would fake the ADD test and get a prescription for Ritalin. Ritalin works well for the symptoms you have. I don't have ADD either but I find Adderall to be very helpful and Adderall and Ritalin are very similar.
If you are going to buy any of these other supplements online from maybe the US or EU I would suggest buying them separately. They are not that expensive so it you buy them separately you may not hit the cost threshold so your customs agents may pay no attention to them. Let me say you have some aggressive customs agents. I have ordered medications from online pharmacies located in other countries and I have had no problems so far even though in the US we are not allowed to buy from foreign pharmacies. These foreign pharmacies though do a good job disguising the package. We also don't have nearly enough customs agents to be able to evaluate every package that comes from Europe or Asia.
In the US we complain a lot about our healthcare system and with good reason - our HC costs are very high and we have a number of people who can't afford insurance - but I think we have it a lot better than some of you in Great Britain and Europe - at least when in comes to choice and freedom to buy what we want. I read somewhere that you can't get Memantine in Great Britain because the government (or whoever runs the HC system) decided the cost was too great in relation to the benefits. Too bad for those Alzheimer patients and too bad for the many others who do not suffer from Alzheimers but could benefit from its use as I have seen here in the US. I have a relative who does not have Alzheimers but has experienced age related cognitive decline. This medication has made a big difference for him. It also sounds like this drug may be helpful for those who need cognitive enhancement but who do not suffer from dementia.
