Interesting! I didn't know the brain was photosensitive.

I'd like to see this completed clinical trial that shows efficacy... the only one I've found so far was posted December 10th and is still recruiting participants.

If we accept that there are photosensitive cells in the brain this opens up the possibility of sending pulsed signals (even 'binaural' ones), into the brain and seeing what happens.

It doesn't seem too far-fetched, there are photosensitive areas in the brains of other animals. Certain turtles for example.
