I bought the Twinlab Na-PCA moisturizer after reading good comments on this forum. I've used it for two weeks consistently and have to say it's the worst moisturizer I ever used. In fact, I have a hard time calling it a moisturizer as the only thing it's doing is drying my skin out!

I'm putting it on after a shower or splashing my face with water and drying. I spray it into my hands and apply it. When I do apply it to my skin it doesn't even make a barrier for the moisture in my skin to be trapped. It seems to not even be a stronger consistency than the water so a lot drips off.

Did I get a bad batch or am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else had better experiences?

Na-PCA can cause non-immunologic contact urticaria (NICU). So it doesnt work for everyone.

I always pour a small amount of NA-PCA on a cotton square and then add some water - works great!

I recently got a few patches of dry skin due to multiple causes. I tried to sort it our with Aloa Vera, different oils, I tried about 5 different things. I got back to my old-reliable na-pca then which I had abandoned for a while due to distraction mostly and I got rid of the dry skin in like a couple of days. After 2 months trying with other products. It works for me.

NA-PCA is absolutely essential in the winter time IMO. I just use the plain NA-PCA with no aloe vera. It's also very inexpensive stuff.
