If you could only have 3 nootropics?

2. Deprenyl
I would consider deprenyl slightly "addictive" though, so I am not sure it should be considered a nootropic.
And after taking hydergine and getting the 2-adrenergic inhibition I have quit taking caffeine, which has made my bottles of chocamine useless.
I wont give a 3rd place because I can think of about 5 that are tied for 3rd.

I'd have to go with...
o Fish oil
o Blueberry extract (the new LEF one is superb)
o Vinopocetine
I really can't go without mentioning melatonin, acetyl-l-carnitine arginate and ginko.
FYI, from LEF's site: "Acetyl-l-carnitine arginate is a patented form of carnitine that stimulates the growth of neurites in the brain. Studies show that acetyl-l-carnitine arginate stimulates the growth of new neurites by an astounding 19.5%, which is almost four times better than acetyl-l-carnitine. "

LEF has been pioneering blueberries as a supplement. Check this out for more detail: http://www.lef.org/m...eberries_01.htm
I eat a full cup of wild organic blueberries every morning so I think its one supplement I can safely skip. Its probably a good thing to consider if you cant incorporate them into your diet easily though.
