What do you think about combo L tyrosine and CDP Choline and 5 htp and iositol, 1st combo taken in the morning and the other one before bed? As I red, CDP Choline should act as upregulator for dopamin and inositol for serotonin, whereas l tyrosine is a precursor for dopamin, and 5htp for serotonin. Is it safe to take them on a regular basis like that?
CDP Choline+L-tyrosine+inositol+5-htp

I just have to add, I developed insomnia which i suffered from 2 months already and i decided to take 5 htp supplement to help with it, so far so good, but i would also like to improve my cognitive abilites, which are deteriorated due to insomnia, as well as motivation to do things. I was on SSRI for 10 months, but i weaned myself slowly and didn't experience any side effects; so I don't know if this insomnia is somewhat correlated to SSRI (maybe SSRI deplete serotonin receptors, so serotonin supply in brain is low once you stop taking SSRI med, hence low melatonin level which is sleep hormone). It only says that insomnia can be side effect when you stop SSRI medication cold turkey, which was not the case with me. I developed insomnia 2 months later, trigger was stress IMO (and possibly rhodiola rosea, which I took to try out, as a natural antidepressive).
Tyrosine fights fatigue, so if you're trying to sleep a long time (which you should be) taking it right before bed may not be the best thing. Your natural "sleepiness" may be overridden. That would suck for you.
How much are you taking of each? You should know that cognitive deficits associated with insomnia rapidly disappear once a normal sleep schedule is reestablished.
With that in mind, I would try:
30min before breakfast In the morning:
L-Tyrosine 1000mg
Inositol 500mg (unless you have a panic disorder, in which case 6 grams may be appropriate)
CDP Choline 250mg
30min before lunch:
L-Tyrosine 1000mg
Inositol 500mg
CDP Choline 250mg
At night:
Melatonin 3-5mg
Melatonin is just better than 5HTP for insomnia.

And that much Melatonin is an OD which gives many people vivid & bizarre nightmares that wake you up followed by inability to get back to sleep.
0.25 - 0.5mg is a more appropriate amount for most people and more closely mimics the natural release pattern I read.
