I emailed Unique Nutrition to see if they were still in business and if they were planning on adding anything to their product line. I thought I'd share what they had to say. The more competition the better for us...

"Hello Josh

Yes we are still in business and plan to be for a long time. Being the first US supplier for Piracetam and Aniracetam we will and plan to expand our line as our company grows. Just a matter of time and money really. Our oxiracetam introduction was expensive and it see if it would sell, which it did, when we reorder we will come out with a powder form and a larger less pricey capsule bottle. Also we expect to have Piracetam in a pleasant liquid form in 2-4 months FYI.

Sincerely VP Steve Sliwa
Chicago, IL

Do you have their website? I did a search on Google but I couldn't find it. Thanks.

Thanks for the info Scott. I haven't ordered from there before so I thought I'd check them out. I remember LifeMirage mentioning them in the past. I'm not sure if he's had experience with them or not though.

Hey jparsell82

For about 10 years I bought my Piracetam from QHI (I bought from LIBSOL prior when they were since in busniess), but since its availabilty in the US from UNI I've been buying from them for the past 2 years. I have yet to have any problems so far and would recommend them as a source of Piracetam and Aniracetam capsules.

While I've heard of some people experiencing some problems (UNI has had some website problems) I've never heard of any serious concerns.

Thanks LifeMirage, I will definitely take that into consideration. Hopefully they can come out with a lower priced Oxiracetam. A price around what Axiom Biologicals had it for would be nice.

I've been ordering Piracetam and occasionally Aniracetam from Unique Nutrition regularly for over a year now. Overall service is good, however on one occasion my order did not go through and I had to send an email. Another time I was accidentally sent duplicate shipments (which I really didn't mind but I told them that in the future I would like to authorize all my purchases individually!) They always responded to my emails within a day or two and were very apologetic when something seemed to go wrong.

They admitted to having had website problems, and the guy who wrote back to me said that he does not like the current company website and that it is lacking a lot of the features the company wants to have in the future.

Overall I'm happy with UNI. They're not perfect but at least I always get my stuff eventually!

I got some good sounding news from Unique Nutrition in my email. Below is a portion of the email they replied to me with. Hopefully they're not just all talk. They did mention they have Pramiracetam right now though. I guess we'll just wait and see...

If I were to order would you send me an email with tracking number?
Sure after placing your order just send us an e-mail reminder to sent that info to you.

Could you give me a range on what the ship times of your products usually end up
being.
Well aside from a few problems here and there anywhere from 1-7 days at the most under 10 depending on when it is being sent and the size of the order.

Also, I and a lot of other are still searching for an affordable
Oxiracetam price.  I hope you can find a way to lower your prices on it
because they are quite high.
As we post on our website we only did a very short run (we made 20 bottles total!!) and used an inexpensive label to see if their was any depend. When we do a real run (1,000-5,000 Bottles) the price should be Oxiracetam 800 mg 40 caps for $20 or less. But due to cost we won't be able to do this for at least 2-4 months.

Also, there's been a lot of talk of someone
supplying Pramiracetam.  Many are very interested in Pramiracetam... I
hope you guys could give it a shot in getting it in stock at a decent
price.
We have it but are having some problems that we can't go into details right now.

Right now, domestically, bulknutrition.com is planninng on getting
Pramiracetam in soon and they will be the only US source.  But
bulknutrition.com only offers the "racetams" in power/bulk.  If you could
get Oxiracetam & Pramiracetam in capsule form(plus bulk).
We will.

Unique Nutrition just upped their price of Aniracetam by $30 (for 4 bottles)! Only a few short days ago they were selling 4 bottles of 40 caps (750mg) for $59, now it's $89! Figures, just as I get ready to purcahse from them and they pull this. I guess I'll have to buy in bulk from 1fast.

Anybody have any experience with the taste of Aniracetam? Thanks.

Aniracetam is pretty much tasteless, at least compared to piracetam -- which is awful!

Thanks nootropic. I wish Rizzer offered Aniracetam in 750mg caps instead of 500. I've had good luck with him. I've ordered twice and recieved my order in a week or two. But I don't feel like taking a chance again so I'll buy bulk from 1Fast.

Unique Nutrition Inc. and Nubrain are two companies which have (in my experience) extremely poor customer service and extremely high prices. UNI will harass and insult you through e-mail if you request to cancel an order - not exactly professional behavior.

In all fairness to Nubrain, the owner of the company is very freindly and helpful. However, the people he hired to answer e-mail inquiries are very impatient and rude, IMO. However, their prices are no where near competitive. Their generic Aniracetam bears the UNI label, but they charge almost twice as much as UNI dose for the same amount of capsules and dosages (Nubrain = $45.00 for 40 x 750 mg; UNI = $24.99 for 40 x 750 mg).

Their Aniracetam bulk is cheaper than 1fast 100 grams for $29.99 vs 90 grams for $33. Taste pretty bad try it in orange juice.

I've cancelled a few orders will no problems... did you have an attitude with them when you canceled?

As far as pricing I've bought my caps of piracetam and aniracetam for the past 2 years, I am unaware of a cheaper source for piracetam and aniracetam capsules.

Have a read around, on atleast 2 occasions people have bought pre-capped Aniracetam from him and the caps have been filled very unevenly. Some full and some half.

It's not nearly as bad as Piracetam but it's similar.
It's fat soluble so how are you going to take it?
It doesn't mix with any beverage obviously, it's going to float and just clump.
It sticks in your mouth bretty badly.

Definately need to be capped in my opinion.

Update:

Thank you all for your help. I forgot that Aniracetam isn't water soluble but I already bought it in bulk so I'll do the best I can to get it down. Perhaps I'll have to buy a cap machine. I bought 120 grams from 1fast for $36. Here is the response I got from Unique Nutrition:

"We will completely run out of Aniracetam capsules in a matter of 1-3 months (it will take 3-8 months until our next run), as far as we are aware we still are the best price for Aniracetam capsules and are the best price for Aniracetam powder (which we have a lot in stock) if you are aware of a "another source" we can easily beat their price."

Like I said before I was going to buy 4 bottles of Aniracetam caps but the $30 hike was too much for me. On a side note, anybody here take Alpha GPC in powder form? The stuff I am taking has no taste. I simply put about 600mg on my tongue and wash it down with some milk. Purchased GPC from 1fast as well. Thanks.

By the way, I just randomly weighed the powder in an Aniracetam capsule from Rizzer. The 500mg cap had actually 525mg of powder (I assume no fillers?). I have weighed other capsules before and subtracting 150mg for the cap, they have all been right around 500mg.
