Despite what the internet says, hordenine does not cross the blood brain barrier. It is also not very bioavailable, and has a very short half life - both due to its para-hydroxyl moeity.
The only real benefits, which are weak at best, would come from competitive inhibition of deamination of a less selective MAO-B substrate.

Obviously others in this thread (Devin especially) are reporting very strong and noticeable benefits from this substance. So your statement implies that they are imaginary, or not caused by this substance?
If so, i find it a bit categorical, even if based on your interpretation of available science.

I was taking Selegiline (2.5mg every other day if I remember correctly). Once a week I'd also take 300mg of Hordenine and 500mg PEA. It was a great buzz for quite a few hours, but not so much that I couldn't work. The Selegiline definitely increased the effects.
These days I occasionally take 300mg Hordenine + 750mg PEA.

If you're convinced that norepinephrine is the key to solving your ADHD and you have insurance, would a pure norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor be helpful? Strattera (atomoxetine) or Edronax (reboxetine) would be examples.
