It's surprising how powerful and well studied the safe plant alkaloid tetrandrine is for cancer ranging from 1 to 80 uM: in vivo brain (glioma), in vivo Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC), breast, lung, neuroblastoma, esophageal, cervical, Burkitt’s lymphoma, hepatoma, and several leukemias.

150 mg/kg oral in rats for brain cancer (gliomas) in rats, with very low toxicity

Applied daily for 28 days, 100% survival in both groups after 100% of controls were dead at day 60. 70% survival to 120 days for treatment that began immediately, and 50% survival when waiting 5 days after glioma innoculation.

$132 for 250 mg, so i would inject it.

in vitro 3 different liver cancers, IC50: 4 to 30 uM (2.5 to 20 ug/mL)

in vitro 2 breast cancers, IC50 15 to 24 uM, 1 to 2 uM to inhibit proliferation

in inflammatory pulmonary diseases:

comparison to many BBIQ alkaloids, Isotetrandrine was even better (toxicity for the later: oral LD50 in mouse 6.4 g/kg)
