Hi all. I'm a 28 year old male looking to stack up for the first time in a while (~3 years) and interested in some feedback and suggestions.

I've been off noots for a long time and was always very conservative with my stacks. For instance, I always stuck to aCH precursors and avoided acetylcholinesterase inhibitors such as Huperzine A, stuck to Piracetam over Oxi or Ani, and never really stacked more than a few things at a time. I eventually settled on 1-2 grams of Piracetam and a gram or so of Choline Citrate, spread throughout the day, with 250mg of CDP-choline and an occassional 1g Phoschol capsule. (The reason for no Alpha GPC is that it didn't get rid of the Piracetam headaches; I'd tried both BN powder and Jarrow.) Apart from that, I always take fish oil and a basic multi.

Also, I had an ALCAR+PS thing going for a while which seemed to help with aerobic stamina at the gym.

Other stuff I've tried for more than a month: SAM-E, Chocamine (never more than a few days consecutively because the stuff was nuts), Rhodiola Rosea, Ashwagandha, DMAE.

Basically, I've been eying the following things, and am tempted to just purchase the whole lot of it so I have it at hand:

From Smart Nutrition:

  • Galantamine 8mg (60 caps)
  • Piracetam 800mg (60 caps)
  • CDP-Choline 200mg (60 caps)
From Cognitive Nutrition

  • Ortho-core (180 caps)
  • Centrophenoxine 500mg (50 caps)
  • Picamilon 50mg (240 caps)

These days, I tend to be rather high-strung most of the time, but otherwise rather emotionally flat. If I have trouble with attention, it's subtle; I no longer delight nearly as much as I once did in richly conceptual flights of fancy, habitualizing a more mechanical (and dull) scan-confirm-fix-and-move-on style of cognition that I'd really like to move away from in favor of something more creative.

So my first plan of attack was to simply take a couple Ortho-core caps a day along with the Picamilon, mainly to alleviate some of the general anxiety. Then, because I've been curious about it for a long time, add Centro to the mix, see how it works, and see if Piracetam softens/expands the effect a bit. Or, instead of Centro/Piracetam, adding Galantamine.

Couple of things concern me: Piracetam's antagonistic effect on NaChRs, which is why I'm choosing not to buy it in bulk powder this time (I just don't want to take very much of it, if I take it at all,) and the potentency of Galantamine. As regards the piracetam, I've always had a lingering feeling that my last tryst with it rewired something, made certain cognitive processes so automatic that I no longer derive conscious enjoyment out of them, and I've wondered whether this didn't have something to do with its effect on the relative balance of muscarinic and nicotinic aCh receptors. Galantamine seems to pretty much do the opposite, favoring nicotinic receptor activity over muscarinergic, so I'm interested in seeing how that might play out.

As for the CDP-Choline, I'm not QUITE sure where to put it. I'm choosing it over AGPC due to its slight edge over the latter in the mood-enhancing department, which I believe has been borne out in personal experience. AGPC tended to make me feel really on edge in an aggressive way after a while, whereas CDP-choline, even if tense due to taking too much, remained bright.

Any other ways I should mix this stuff, any definite no-no's (ie. Centro + Galantamine strikes me as one) and anything else I might want to add to the stack? I suppose what I'm looking for is more spontaneity/cognitive richness/motivation and reduced anxiety.

What about a spread stack, alternating Centro/Piracetam on some days, Galantamine on others? Anybody have personal experience with similar approaches?
