Would someone who knows something about this, sumarize what it is and what biological function it has? Thank you

I wonder what you are up too now, Wolfram. I always enjoy reading your posts.
I am not an expert on royal jelly. To summarize what I'm sure you already know, I know royal jelly is apparently the nutritious compound that is fed to larvae destined to become queen bees. It's packed with hormones, and the hormones cause a radically different development in the growing bee's body, which result in queen bee, while genetically the same species, having a much different structure than your average worker bee. I think the lack of wax glands is a specific end result.
I'm curious, what could fuel your interest in royal jelly? I apologize for not having more specifics on the exact composition and biological effect of it for you, wish I could be more helpful.

There is not a lot out there on composition of Royal Jelly.
I have looked and the NIH article on the subject is blank.
