Caffeine always flushes my face, are there any non vasodialating energy/focus supplements that help you folks stay sharp and alert from morning until evening? (Im a college student with many morning science classes next year... and I am just not a morning person.

I mean it seems a bit like trying nootropics, or mind-altering substances, is trial and error. What might work for one, might not work for you.
The all-time favorite of many people has been the racetam's. Not so much for energy (for some it works great for that, others not so much), but for its purported ability to increase intellect.
That said, ALCAR may be good for energy, and many people vouch for it.

Hordenine + DMAA will wake you and the neighbors up. It's also non-flushing. There's a bit of a crash, so dose high and/or frequently.
Soy lecithin seems to get me going, but it takes like a half hour.
Vinegar + Baking Soda is nice tonic, too. 3 teaspoons of vinegar in a glass of water, stir in about a 1/3 of a teaspoon of baking soda.
DMAE has a bit of a kick, too. It increases betaine by 3-fold.
