So ever since i was a little girl, I absolutely lovred to sing. I got my first recorder and sung along to the singers. I sdid some plays/ singing shows as a kid in schoolds and local culture centres in my counntyry. But then I started to read up about he music industry, and got scared. Besides my parents didnt reallly nurture thsi talent and pushed me itno languages instead. I finished a non music related course at the university but still took some acting and vocal classes. The people I preform for are saying that I should do more about it and I would really like t pursue this as a career because I know I cant forgive myself if I dont. Ting is, I'm 28 and never did anything major with it. I definietly have tthe "perfect hearing" required for a person t catcch onto a tune and sing it pitch-perfect after hearing the niotes only a few times. So do you think I'm too old to start doing anything in this regard? I want to record a cd and.maybe get into some commercials. tv shows, but this industry is so youth- oriented. I don't look 28, raher 22-23 but still I'm constantly afraid I'm too late to really succeed in this business..
Is it possible to succeed in music/acting industry at older age?

The only time you are too old for something is when you are dead.
Now with that said, the music industry just like anything dealing with entertainment is very hard for anyone of any age to succeed in simply due to the sheer number of millions of people going for it. Most music artists never go anywhere. There are a lot of dirty and sleazy people who work in the music industry that you will come across. This does not even include the scammers who might come your way before you even get your feet off the ground.
If you plan to seriously pursue this as a career full-time you should consider what you will do if you fail to become successful in the music industry. I doubt you will want to end up living with your parents when you are 35-40 years old, without any meaningful work experience on your resume for an employer.
To stay on the safe-side you can work at a regular job and sing at a local bar or club as a hobby on your time off.
You can also try creating some songs and promote it on YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, etc and see where that may get you.

Hmmm...I see some of what you are saying, but if you don't go for it with all of your heart and soul, then you have almost no chance whatsoever, which is a step down from the 0.0001% chance you have if you DO give it your all.Yes it is possible. You can read about late bloomers here: http://en.wikipedia....ki/Late_bloomer
