Hi all,
I have just spent more than 24 hours reading all the great stuff on this site. I am learning so much and am so grateful for this site.
Quick backstory: Depressed, Anxiety and ADHD all my life. Shrink's answer is to throw more drugs my way. Me, I would rather get off the Zoloft and Adderall (he now wants to add Wellbutrin).
Also severly struggle with: Vocabulary, Memory, Word Recall, Concentration and fear speaking as a result. Have a VERY outgoing personality but can be as blank as an empty canvas within minutes.
In order to get to the bottom of the issues I have begun experimenting including genetic testing. Have tried:
Modafinil = no impact at 100 mgs - doubled the dose and became angry and hostile. Quit after that
Adderall = Great weight supression but makes me (more) flat in the personality deaprtment. Want to quit but am loving teh weight loss - lame, I know.
Piracetam = I tried it and Day 1 was great but day 2 was horrible. Cranky - hostile. Could be that I teamed it with Zoloft and the Modafinil.
Every SSRI = Everything works for a few weeks and then stops. (this is true regardless of what type of medication or supplement)
For Supplements I take: Pycnogenol (sp), Fish Oil, Vit D3, Vit B, ALCAR, Sublingual B, Glycine, CoQ10 and a great Multi vitamin.
My issue is everything works for a while and then peters out (or it feels like it does). While it works I am a better and happier person but I live in fear of that three week return to the darkness.
Today, I ordered Get Smart, Happy Days and their Pro hGH (Human Growth Hormone).
My memory is so poor I can't even recall why I started this post! I think it was to ask this great community of people who know more than I do if they know of any risks associated with taking the Get Smart with Happy Days and Zoloft? Also, for those who are wondering about the effect of Get Smart and / or Happy Days I will gladly keep you updated on my progress - even if it is only for the three weeks until - if true to pattern - it stops working for me.
Thank you all in advance for any comments and/or insight.
