Alpha linoleic acid consumption is correlated to increased risk of prostate cancer, whereas EPA and DHA decrease the risk.

My sister shall soon get one of your recommended stuff, my mom- I'm not sure what about her actaully. Heh to mention my grandfather will soon start also with Omega-3 (my dads dad)...
Also, what are the advantages in Alpha linoleic acid then?

There are no advantages that I can see as all of its useful effects in humans are only realized once it is metabolized into EPA and DHA, which only occurs at maximum ~15% efficiency. So, under the best conditions ALA only provides minimal EPA/DHA and 85% of it is merely extra Polyunsaturated fat susceptible to oxidation and contributing extra calories.

Fish oil is probably the most important supplement that we discuss here in IMMINST.

And we've found some smaller capsules of pure Omega-3 for my little sister- in China! so we shall receive it soon.
Also my grandfathers started with it :) hehe, the Berman's are having Omega-3 yeah!

Infernity, glad to hear about the Fish Oil Family Escapades, but be careful with the Chinese stuff, make sure it is MOLECULARLY DISTILLED.

Thanks lynx,
Well I know usually the made-in-China stuff are cheep and their quality is accordingly... but these stuff are from the "healthy side of China" I suppose; You know were all the self-taking-care is in hardly, probably from these distant mountains.

Afraid to say it amphetamines aswell as piracetam (even better aniracetam)

It's important to do this early.

Oh, here is perhaps the highest concentration available as a taste altered liquid. I see enough here for about 7 days to get that indicated 4 grams of EPA for the elderly in two tablespoons per day. Probably less for your sis, infernity, maybe just one tblspn per day. That would cost about fifty dollars a month. It would potentially be easier to get the desired amount into a person who has a tough time with capsules.

I bet this stuff would be practically like a magic elixir for many of the aged.

Thanks Chip. ;)

I think my dad wants my sister to achieve something without taste at all, like the capsules so she won't decide someday she doesn't like it as that tricky girl may probably do...
But I'll show them that though.

Hey, my sister got some 250 mg capsules of Shark Liver, from China. this is actually manufactured in New Zealand and was sailed to China.

However, the company's name is 'Daily-Healthy' so it seems, I've never heard of it. Whatever.

I'll see if it has any affects on her.

Weired to mention that in two places it's written it includes Vitamins A and D, and in two other places that it doesn't...

However, it has also Vitamin H. And obviously Omega- 3. The dosages are not mentioned.
