I would like to share with you some problems i have the late years with memory lapses and speech disorder.
When i talk,if i am distracted for 1 second i may forgot what i was going to say.Or i start walking to pick up a tool from tool box to fix something and when i reach the area close to tools i forget what i need.It takes some seconds to remember the correct tool or i have to be concentrated from the begining to what i want until i get to the tool box.
Also i forget names that people tell me very easy or remember their names misspelled or i try hard to find the right word for something i want to say but i know the word.
One thing that is the most annoying for me is that when i speak i substitute some letters of a word for others.I would call it speech slip.I don't know the correct term. For example i want to say "have a nice day" and say "have a nice may".I think this happens more often when i think about 2 words of similar meaning and then when i pronounce the one i want to tell i end with a mix of them.Of course this happens more intense when i drink. The more i drink the worse symptoms, but i think this is normal for most people.
Do you think my problem is Acetylcholine related or anything else and what do you suggest to help?
I take fish oils for almost 6 months but don't notice anything positive in cognition or mood as advertised.I tried normal EPA/DHA ratio, then 7:1 EPA,now 5:1 DHA.Nothing yet. Also i have tried for a month 400mg of Swanson PS and got zero response, but i don't trust Swanson products,so i don't know if it was the brand or supplement fault.
I am thinking about Alpha GPC or CDP Choline.
