Yes, I'm one of those lightweight but big guys. One beer can get me pretty buzzed. I barely drink, maybe a beer every 3 weeks or so.

But it's party time, and I'm always the one that gets the most drunk easily. All the time.

Any supps out there to increase tolerance to alcohol?

Thanks!

Perhaps a fiber like psyllium husk may slow it's absorption? Carbs are said to be slowed down with fiber but who knows if it would work with alcohol. Anyhow, just an idea. :)

Start drinking alcohol daily and pretty quickly your liver will compensate and break the stuff down quicker. I hope this helps!

Dopaminergic stimulants will keep you acting and feeling soberer under its influence. A gram of tyrosine alone just before starting might help already, if you're not used to it. Anything stronger will help proportionally more.

I also just read somewhere that activated charcoal, like what's given in ER's for poisonings, will slow down alcohol absorption. There are products that use it for "hangover cures", like soberfast.

Taurine, B6, silymarin. Alcohol is processed by your liver and those supps are good for fixing/reversing a fatty liver.

DHM would be the most effective. And it looks like a company just sprouted up that sells it in powder and capsule form. www.buydhm.com

Noopept also seems to work really well, but works better if you dose daily for a few days before the drinking takes place. Personally I don't drink, but I was feeding a friend of mine noopept for a couple days in pretty large doses (100mg per day) and he knocked back his usual 12-14 drinks and was unusually lucid. He wasn't slurring his words and didn't black out or lose balance. Pretty weird.

I wouldn't suggest those dosages for Noopept though. 30mg a day for 3 or 4 days and then up to 50mg on the drinking day would likely work fine. If you decide to try it though start with 10mg and make sure it reacts well with you though.
