I hope it's just my computer but is anyone else noticing the posts all mixed up? I'm looking at this topic for example and it looks like some posts are missing and others have the wrong person listed as making the comment.

I'll add a screen shot and maybe someone can verify that it's just on my computer..... Attached File  Capture.JPG   100.93KB   10 downloads

For example, in this post, ScienceGuy was the original poster, and now it's listed as Hyperspace21... It's not just those two users though and it seems to be happening all over the board. My nav log for example is missing a bunch of posts and has my posts mixed up with other mods and visaversa...

I'll try restarting my computer

What manic is seeing is really weird. The post content from post number 20 is appearing in the slot above, so that it looks like it's post number 19, and is getting attributed to Hyperspace21, the author of the real post #19, instead of Science_Guy. I think what riloal is seeing is a different and more common bug; when the title of the thread is too long, it wraps around and is overwritten by the poster's name.

Yes, forum messages got messed up. For e.g., my msg at http://www.longecity...post__p__450755 is showing up with a different forum user name, not mine. http://www.longecity...post__p__423314 is not my msg, but appears with my user name.

This moment I signed in to post this, msg #3 in this thread can be seen directly below msg #1, no msg #2. Please forum admin, try to remove these failures.

Ok, that's too bad.. this is manic btw since it seems like it will probably show me as niner or someone else on the thread. Looks like avatars, ₮points and posts are all jumbled. Also, all my IM's seem to not be working properly either...

droplet, riloal : do you guys see an open envelope button up top? Can you click it? It's adjacent to the notifications button which is next to your username.

What happens if you guys click this link: http://www.longecity...odule=messaging

The forum still looks odd and upon pressing that button, I see a list of PMs but open them to no writing.

It was a global problem which also led to today's downtime.

At the moment, we are still not fully sure about the cause.

If you notice things being funny again, please inform any admin ASAP.
