I was thinking about having the possibility to choose if to write from the left to the right, in the center or from the right to the left.
That idea came up to me when I wanted to post in the Israel sub-forum over the Regional forum some of my longer posts including my translation of the Dragon-Tyran Fable by Nick Bostrom and more goodies. The problem is that in Hebrew- we type from the right to the left, and all the text is mixing up when the direction is not so. That is why I think it would be better to have that option. It may also help to organize some stuff in English, simply to have order when sometimes you want to make a list for example or something- when you have both directions, and even the center it may simply help...
Till than I cannot post long things in Hebrew since it shall cost alot of thinking on how to mix it all up in first place so the final post will be correct and since the future posts are very long- it'll make things much harder...
I'd do it like in the Microsoft Word where you can press on the button which represents the direction of the typing...

Just do it in Word since that can handle the fonts and right justification/direction and then try copy/pasting the result. It would also mean that you would have some help with spell checker in both languages.

That is exactly what I did, lol do you think I'd type it all whole over again? [lol] I don't think so...
Changing the Bold, Italic and size of the font to what it is in the Word file- I can handle; but the mixing up- that's terrible.

You might have to update the software to handle the foreign language fonts Bruce but it should be doable. I would expect the updates are available. Would that be the greatest obstacle?

It is currently impossible to write more then one line in Hebrew. I am sure that the software exists since there are plenty of Hebrew forums where you can write from right to left.

Isn't this a font and keyboard setting on your PC or is it that the fonts for Hebrew are incompatible with this software?

Did you try setting up your post in Word and then copy/pasting?

No.

I suppose that this is the problem. Updates should be available, the easiest way to find out is to ask the tech support of this software.

also, for line breaks, you may type "Enter" key or add the html command for break 'br':

Bruce that is *Right Justified* but not Right to Left *ordered* text.

The sentence needs to begin at the right and flow to the left.

It is however a good start and may help with transferred text.

Thanks Bruce, it is a good start, now the text can be displayed normally (if it is Hebrew only).

The editing is still problematic, while editing one still sees the messed up text and it is impossible to determine what will become of it when posted. Even if edited in Word, the signs are misplaced and have to be manually corrected (which is not so easy when working in the left to right mode). Thus, it is quite difficult to make the text look as you wish, even if you copy/paste from Word (but now at least possible ).

Another thing is that if English text posted within the Hebrew one, it messes the order of the words (even when edited in Word), so one can't use English terms, and have to write English words in Hebrew.
