Hi folks,

recently I've stumbled upon these crisps in an Austrian supermarket (text is in English):

Styrian pumkin seed oil is regarded as very healthy, especially for the prostate. It is also rich in linoleic acid and lowers cholesterol.
The other ingredients also seem to be ok, and no hydrogenated plant fat seems to have been used.

Is there anything I have missed here?

I don't know what vegetable fat or spice extract is. Could be unhealthy. Spice extract might be MSG. Vegetable fat could be hydrogenated oil. Deep fried things tend not to be healthy. They are typically soaked in fat and the oil is somewhat denatured by heat, which make it less healthy.

As far as chips, in the US, Terra chips are the most healthy. They contain a lot less oil. If you can get those, they could be healthy enough to eat some of the time. If you only eat a few crisps (chips to Americans) then pick the healthiest ones you can find. If you eat crisps all the time, that just isn't healthy.
