Im going to have a go.. I thought it was crazy as well until I did a bunch of research on it..
I posted this on skindeepchat
Im going to get into this as I have been quoted $3600 to just do a few minor things with restylane..
A big problem is my eye bags but im not brave enough yet to go near there and might get these done at a shop.
I think nasial folds are a fairly low risk place to start out on. I will buy 1ml of regular restylane and have a go at it. I have researched the fillers and think that regualr restylane is the best for me, it is $158 for 1ml, does anyone think there is a better option? Im going to attempt to do the same technique as Dr. Naderi here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eq_DZzDyLyE
I was thinking of getting the Restylane Vital Injector and doing my whole face but giving my nasolabial folds double shots for about 40 of the 200 shots in the 2ml Injector. Could this be an option? I am new to this so I do not expect a dramatic improvment, it would be great to just soften my nasolabial folds some and get a general improvment to my skin all over.
My big problem is these folds, and some how I now have double folds when I look in a dark window or subway window reflection,, shite... in two years I have aged dramaticly from loss of facial fat.
As in this picture, there is a distinct depression in my skin making a double fold.. like coming from my eye or something..

Its gotta go.... and I do have a limited budget..
I was thinking I could just go strait for a more heavy weight filler and plump my cheeks out, this might reduce my bags, the nasolabial folds and these secondary fold s a little all in one go.
In these videos here, the doctors seem to do just one injection to achieve plumping of the cheeks.
This guy just seems to push the needle into one spot then inject.

This does not seem too hard.
Any thoughts?
