1. As you must gather, Mike has ripped off and pissed off an enormous amount of people (I am not one). You really need to find some way to make amends and give the people the outstanding products that they are owed by you.
2. It ain't the 60's, talk of the revolution and stuff like this doesn't help your business:
"Coming in 2005;
Embrace the coming destruction of the dollar, euro, peso, ruble and other tools
of slaves.
Start your own currency; Start your own government; Let their faulty system
bleed to death.
Putting all the power into anyones hands.

It would also help if Mike used his real name on his business.

I have ordered a few times from Adam and every single time I get my order in less than 2 days (I am in NY he is in CA), REAL COAs, and above all- pure, pharmaceutical grade products. I can't say this has ever happen for me in the past. As far as this criticism he is receiving I will get back to this later this evening or tomorrow. Until then, peace and chickenwings.
I think what Adam sells is probably ok. I wouldn't buy from him myself though.
What isn't ok is the way he attacks other companies. Claiming quality issues which are unfounded. Telling people they will die if they take such and such company's products and so forth. Lets face it, they all get their supplements from the same sources.
And on the forums the way he attacks other members who might hold a different viewpoint is inexcusable.
All that being said, he would be welcome back here if he could ever learn how to play well with others. I hope he does, but thus far the evidence is not in his favor.

Aside from looking for the best deal and quality, who you are supporting financial is something people should take into consideration.
When I have time I will add to the nootropic suppliers a short description of each company (When they started, what their focus & future plans are, and if they had had any issues).

While it usually takes a significant stimulus for people to change, people do change. Adam and his knowledge minus the heavy metal obsession, attacks and tirades would be a welcome addition to the board. Whether that shift can happen....I do not know.

My name is Adam Kamil. I asked Oversoul711 to post this on my behalf.
While I cannot say I am proud of every single word I ever said in an Internet discussion forum group, I can definitely say that I have contributed more than 99% of the users in this forum to the discussion and general knowledge of nootropics and life extension supplements.
Let me make one thing clear, for the record: my being "banned" from the Immortality Institute and Avant Labs forums was mostly my choice, for those of you whom are not so aware.
I was invited to "defend" myself due to my "full membership" status by Caliban, I declined to "defend" myself because I was disgusted with the leadership of the Immortality Institute, and it was of no importance to me whatsoever whether or not I was banned, as you say; and I acted by starting my own forum with my own high standards and basis for recommendations for nootropics and life extension supplement use. I deleted as many posts as possible because I believe the immortality Institute should not be able to reap the benefits of my research and recommendations if I cannot update or support them if further questions are asked (as is the case now).
In my opinion, I have proven many moderators arguments not be based on facts, as mine have always been; and I think this threatens their credibility, so, like in any other political organization, these members do not me around because I say what I think THEN I prove my claims; meanwhile much of the "team" does a lot of talk but little or no walk when it comes to ensuring consumer safety in the nootropic and life extension market.
With respect to the Avant labs forum, okay, well here is a forum I don't regularly visit, so when they suspended my membership I was largely indifferent either way.
My father is (and has been) responsible for selecting (and eliminating) doctors to be part of the most prestigious health network in the United States of America . In fact, my father wrote a plan that rewards doctors large financial sums based on their patient satisfactions'. Last year alone my Dad's "pay for performance plan" paid $28 million in one bonus program to 150 medical groups because they had quality service for their patients. My Dad said that "To stay alive they [the doctors] have to get their act together." So it should make you think twice when you wonder why I want to discredit doctors who are obviously not qualified to make medical recommendations and obviously would not fall into the "performance" category!
I did not feel appreciated often in the forums as well; although I did instigate several arguments and say mean things to some members whom I think are, well, ignorant; so I felt that if I were to take my posts with me, and remove the recommendations, I could support them in my own forum. I do realize that your forum is organized in a particular fashion such that I cannot participate in many discussions without breaking your forums' rules. Like if a Doctor says he is a MD, I am going to hold him credible to the standard that I hold all MDs to; and if he fails to notice his fault, I will be further angry. When MDs make mistakes, people suffer. I can give you a prime example. I have learned and watched a pattern of my parents and their associates completely disregarding the opinions of other so called "QUALIFIED" medical professionals and save many lives as a result, so my view is one which questions the motives of those whom others consider "qualified;" that is is just the way I am built, and the way I have seen effective individuals advance society. Are you familiar with say, Ralph Nader, or are you perhaps a bigger fan of, say, George W, Bush?
My mother authorized the youngest kidney transplant in history on a child who would most of likely died otherwise, while mostly every
"Expert" in her field condemned her for it (only they suspiciously changed their opinion after the transplant was successful). Here are
the proof:
http://childrenskidn...org/Miracle.asp
http://www.kindersta...7740/index_html
I am skeptical of organizations that require every member to agree on all matters; for that often proves a lack of integrity of the
organization (and often even corruption). I am not implying your organization is purely corrupt, but I believe I have brought more
valuable information to the your organization with documented proof than most (I would say easily over 50%) of your members, and although I may have abrasive methods of bringing forth information, it cannot be denied that I have educated your community of several issues that I consider quite pertinent to the "objectives" of your institute.
And might I ask you: How many times have you heard the term "civilized" in the same sentence, paragraph, or even discussion as
"Internet forum?" I may not be willing to abide by every by law of your institute, but I can say with confidence that there is an immense amount of misinformation throughout much of your forum that threatens and even threatens the possibility of immortality for many of your
full members, If you would like references I would be happy to provide them for you because I actually perform actions that could promote a longer, healthy life for many of yourfull and basic members.
But once again, I cannot not tolerate ignorance, and will identify it when is is evidenced, with the proof; so I ask you to consider what
the outcome of misinformation on the mission of an institute self proclaimed an Immortality Institute when perhaps more death is
implemented by the "leaders" of your group due to their ignorance of very pertinent health issues.
I say this with the best of intentions and hope your institute implements policies that require the leaders to bring proof that their
philosophies indeed contribute to the cause your forum is named after, "For Infinite Lifespans." Infinite lifespans are largely impossible with misinformation and moderators/navigators/leaders who contribute nothing tangible to your mission.
That is my view, and I sincerely hope you can prove me wrong; please show me evidence of your "moderators/navigators/leaders" [NOT "financial contributors"] who act according to the principles of your attempt "to conquer the blight of involuntary
death." Rather, I see them doing the converse, unfortunately. My father found a hospital that was performing unncesssary operations
on patients. They were performing these operations on people's hearts, so these operations were not only very dangerous for the
patient, but happened to be also very expensive for the insurance company. You see, a lot of this is political, but it is also
profitable for the hosptial performing the unnecessary surgery. You see, an MD's judgment can often mean life or death to patients. To see this example: scroll down to the article:
Modesto Bee, "Insurer Blasts DMC Surgery"
http://www.modbee.co...p-8593427c.html
This is similar to me or another member of your forum linking to a supplier whose products are not effective safe for human consumption (ie small levels of lead, mercury, or arsenic). Like if you look at 1fast400's piracetam, you will see it MAY NOT be USP complaint.
http://www.1fast400....r_1Fast400.html
USP complaint means less than or equal to 10 ppm. This needs to be proven.
So when I hear some members of public forums whom "claim" to be MDs I obviously hold them to very high standards. And when I told my mother and faher that individuals are so unaware of the inherent dangers of purchasing drugs on the internet that have not been tested for either heavy metal content or even its melting point, and are imported from countries such as China and India considering that the WHO has determined that 8% are counterfeit, they asked me what I could do about it, considering that these drugs have made it possible for me to succeed in school after failing my entire life. I went from someone who could not even pass a test to the top 10% of my class after years of illcit drug abuse, so my parents stand behind my mission to bring safe nootropics to the world market; not some cheap Chinese and/or Indian import that was purchased by some businessman who does not even take nootropics to make a profit. I actually, however, do take nootropics, so I am very concerned about their purity. I know by reading some of your posts that some of you don't care how pure your drugs are so you can just ignore this post altogether and continue possibly endangering your lives.
My mother is a medical doctor with over 300 patients (mostly infants and children) on dialysis. She has been has been an active volunteer with the National Kidney Foundation of Southern California for more than 15 years, receiving multiple volunteer service awards. While serving on their patient services committee, she organized the first pediatric patient education conference for the families of children with kidney disease, an activity which continues annually in Southern California. She currently serves as Chairman of their Medical Advisory Board. She is also a member of the American Society of Nephrology, American Society of Pediatric Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, International Society of Nephrology, International Society of Pediatric Nephrology and the Renal Pathology Society; and not to mention, a member of the UCLA Medical School admissions committee.
My parents can both testify that hundreds of individuals were fired to implement their plans and that if they actually followed what the "majority vote" wanted implemented, all of their work and thus contributions to society would have failed. The case at hand that I ask you to consider is whether the reader is competent to think and make decisions for herself instead of some inefficient collective with conflicting motives. So with individuals such as "Elrond," "stellar," and "scottl" if this were my corporation (or my Dad's), would have been fired eons ago.
I consume approximately forty supplements on a daily basis. I need them to be safe.

Guideline No. 3: Testing (spend a little now or a lot more later).
The only way to be sure a material is what you want is to test it. Whether you test it in-house or by an outside lab is your call, but testing is an absolute necessity.
Sure, no one likes to spend money on testing, but we can't count the number of times someone didn't want to spend $155 on a test and instead is now responsible for a bottle run costing tens of thousands of dollars because of a deficient raw ingredient or other problem. Significant companies have vanished because of it. We can assure you that those who have made this mistake and survived have done so only once, so take note.
To recoup the cost of analysis of material you cannot use you could consider instituting a policy with your suppliers we sometimes refer to as "put up or pay up." If you test a supplier's product and it meets specifications, then everyone is happy. If, however, the product is substandard then your supplier reimburses you for the cost of analysis. This puts your suppliers on notice that they will be held accountable for selling deficient material.
And when you do test a product, first make sure the lab you use is competent and service-oriented. There is no point testing if the lab's results are inaccurate or if the lab won't stand behind you in times of crisis. Ask the lab how often they test the product in question and what method they use; if a lab refuses to disclose the method go elsewhere. Be sure the method and standards used have been properly validated (otherwise the test won't be consistent from sample to sample). Be critical of the service and documentation you receive from the lab; if either is in a state if disarray, what do you think the lab looks like?
Also, make sure the sample you send for testing is representative of the lot in question. There are simple but routinely ignored procedures to follow to insure this. And please do not fall for the "pre-production sample bait and switch" routine we see too often, where we're given a "primo" sample to test but the customer gets "junk" delivered to its warehouse. You must be sure the lab tests what you are buying.
One final note: be sure to retain a sample of all materials passing through your hands. It is only with a retained sample that you have the ability to exonerate yourself should someone downstream blame you for a problem.
So you see, the nutritional supplement business is not a commodity business where every product with the same name is identical, but more akin to the chemical business where all products have specifications that must be met and where this attainment must be demonstrated. In addition, these products are chemical entities and obey (for better or for worse) the dynamic rules of chemistry. If you want to get your supplement right and avoid disaster you must be fully familiar with the products you handle and take proactive steps to be sure that's what you have on hand.
Making Sense of GMPs http://www.naturalpr...and of and GMPs
09/01/2000
"In DSHEA, Congress ordered FDA to model any specific GMPs for
supplements on food GMPs," Ullman said. "The food GMPs [as opposed to
pharmaceutical GMPs] had less rigorous steps to take against
impurity--not every batch needs to be tested and record retention isn't
as rigourous."
Beyond Internal QC--Questions For Your Supplier
Research your supplier. Ask questions to protect yourself and your customers .
* What is your policy regarding GMP practices?
* Do your raw materials meet the applicable requirements for United States Pharmacopoeia, National Formulary and the Code of Federal Regulations [where applicable]?
* Does your company provide ongoing GMP compliance through training and updates?
* Do you test all raw materials for identity, purity and potency prior to use/sale?
* Does your quality control process involve statistical sampling with pre-established, acceptable quality limits (AQLs)?
* Does your in-process inspection verify conformance to specifications, physical dimensions, weight control and microbial limits?
* Do you supply a Certificate of Analysis with each product shipment? Is your facility and staff available for customer audits?

Counterfeit Pharmaceuticals - Update on Current Status and
Future Projections

There are various types of counterfeit drugs and numerous organisations trying to obtain a workable definition for the term. Common violation of regulations include 'look-alikes', which contain little or no active ingredient, 'rejects' that have been rejected by the
manufacturer or regulatory authorities for quality reasons and 're-labelled' medications that have expired but have been relabelled with a much later expiry date. Each type of counterfeit drug affects the victim in a different way: the damage can be caused by a
lack of active ingredient or the presence of a harmful agent. These harmful agents can cause a wide array of damage, both to the individual and to society. Therapeutics with a lack of active ingredient or asub-therapeutic dose are harmful especially in the case of anti-infectives, which can cause bacterial and parasitic resistance.3 .There are numerous ways in which countries and organisations define counterfeit pharmaceuticals, but the WHO has provided a workable definition. The WHO defines a counterfeit pharmaceutical product as one that is "deliberately and fraudulently mislabelled with respect to identity and/or source Counterfeiting can apply to both branded and generic products and counterfeit products may include products with the correct ingredients or with the wrong ingredients, without active ingredients, with insufficient active ingredient or with fake packaging".4 The counterfeit drug may have either incorrect packaging or deliberately containan incorrect quantity of active or inactive ingredients in the drug. It is necessary for a clear distinction to be made between the various terms for counterfeit drugs, such as 'fake' or 'sub-standard'. These two terms are disparate problems that need to be dealt with differently. Although a drug that contains none, too little or too much active ingredient is ineffective in treating the specified disease and can pose a serious health risk, it is possible that a drug is notcounterfeit but simply a manufacturers' defect. This product would be spotted by local regulatory authorities enforcing a strict regulatory process and quality assurance and denied access to the open market. Unless there is a deliberate action to imitate or attempt to recreate another brand, these drugs are not considered counterfeit. Although counterfeit drugs could possibly contain the proper amount of active ingredient, they are still dangerous because they originate from a criminal intent. It is imperative that counterfeiting is recognised as being illegal; due to the widespread and circuitous route that it takes to reach the consumer it must be policed internationally.
[b]The WHO believes that 8% of bulk drugs imported into the US are
counterfeit.

Adam, you seem lost in your own words sometimes. I'm not going to keep pounding on you (still mad at myself from ordering from your site, seeing how you conduct yourself). You are probably a decent guy in real life, but you just can't act the way you're acting and expect not to be called on it. People can change, and I hope you can too. A good start would be apologizing to the companies you've tried to inflict damage upon, and go from there. Thats really what pisses me off. These people have put years of their lives into building businesses that sustain their livelyhood, and here comes some young yahoo trying to tear them down..its just plain wrong no matter how you slice it. Discussion is one thing, but cut-throating is another. So you can keep digging the hole you're in, or you can climb out.

Elaborate regimens may be risky; however, they may also incur great
benefits. No risk, no return.
By no means should anybody read the details of my regimen and
automatically assume that it will work for them.
I read every abstract available at the pubmed database on most of the
supplements that I take; and for those I have not extensively studied,
I defer to the reasoning of others whom I consider to be competent.
RALA, ALCAR, and L-Carnosine are not xenobiotic; not that it matters
particularly considering that the doses I articulated.
Piracetam, aniracetam, and oxiracetam are quite similar molecularly,
and we know these are safe. The pyrrolidone family of drugs has been
extensively studied in animals and although we may not understand
exactly how they work, we know they are reasonably effective (maybe
not always statistically speaking) in restoring memory (and vigilance)
in animals with impaired memories. What does this imply for healthy
individuals? This largely depends on exactly what differentiates
individuals with impaired memory from those with "normal" working
memory. Besides being largely absent of side effects, drugs of the
pyrrolidone class may indeed be neuroprotective and inhibit memory
loss.
Potent antioxidants can improve cognitive function, and delay
cognitive decline. For example, we have found that bacopa, deprenyl,
pyritinol are all potent antioxidants in the brain; however in
different parts of the brain, region specific may answer the question
of how each improves cognitive function in humans. There are several
other "nootropics" that are also antioxidants, such as hydergine,
nicergoline, bromocriptine from the ergot class; RALA, L-Carnosine,
pyridoxamine dihydrochloride, benfotiamine; and the list continues.
All of the supplements I take I have adjusted the metabolic scaling to
my age and weight. I also titrate up to what I estimate will be an
effective yet safe dose for daily consumption. I regularly have
several blood tests performed and the results analysed by a health
professional to ensure that my organs are functioning efficiently.
As I mentioned before, it is most important to watch for
contraindications within neurotransmitter systems. If any drug takes
control of a particular transmitter by significant measure, it is
advisable to proceed with extreme caution. Thankfully, I take no
painkillers, so if there is a mal interaction, I certainly would be
made aware of it, as I did when I started deprenyl while also taking
hydergine, nicergoline, and bromocriptine. The doses that I take of
the drugs I listed are far beneath the "therapeutic range" for most
chronic illnesses. For example:
Deprenyl – 1 mg (the dose for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's is 10 mg or more)
Nicergoline – 5 mg (the dose for senile dementia is 30-60 mg a day)
Bromocriptine –1.25 mg (the dose for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's is
2.5-15 mg a day)

I have tried ordering from Adam on a couple of occasions recently and I have found the service lightning fast, courteous and e-mails always answered within 24 hours. Every single item is accompanied by a COA (perhaps that's excessive but what the hell). He's sent me free product and has now promised to send me a whole range of new stuff just for the postage. The prices are very good too.
If that situation remains, and is consistent, it must be good. Sure, folks can be strange sometimes, and I believe most are (including me!) however I shall continue to deal with Adam as long as I get such good service and prices [thumb]
And, Adam, if you are reading this, I am looking forward to the day when you stock, Pram, Sulb, Idebenone, Centrox. etc.

If you have not been paying attention, he and his minions continue to post here and on avant both places where he has been banned. His posts are long, argumentative and he continues to libel other suppliers here, on avant and on rec.drugs.smart.
Lifemirage, a physician with extensive clinical experience with nootropics, posted on rec.drugs.smart mentioning imminst as a source of nootropic info. Adam who is a twenty something with book knowledge and mental illness then posts:

a COA on every batch/shipment from those types of suppliers is apporate.
Based upon this, when Adam started up his business I placed a couple of small
orders and recieved fast service and a COA with each shipment. In attempting
to place another order Adam, informed me that he was out of stock and the approximate due date, unlike another company who said they had the product, took my order and it never sent it. Emails requesting order status were never answered.
In my experience with Adam, he has provided excellent customer service and has displayed intergerty in, not taking my order hopping to fill at some undetermined future date. He gave me the opportunity to place the order somewhere else if I could not wait for his delivery.
This type of action will certaintly build repeat business. I may not be a large volume customer, but he will get first opportunity at my orders.

The company was smi2le. At least 2 e-mails and a phone call. The e's were ignored and the phone conversation went something like " We have it in stock, let me get your ..., will get it out first of next week".

I remember when new posters were coming in and criticizing Smi2le. AdamP2P said they didn't count because they didn't have 100 posts, and were not credible. I wonder if he'd feel the same in this particular situation. [thumb]
AdamP2P, denounce these new posters now! Oh wait, you'd be denouncing yourself....
