The Folding@Home team that we sponsor here at Longecity is slipping. We made it up to something like 72nd place, thats out of over 166,000, which is something for all of you past and present contributors to be proud of. Now though we are back down at 104th place, and this month we have the lowest number of participants that I can remember having in a long time, at 13.

We could keep it up, we recruit and promote it some, but we just dont have enough people power to stop the slip in rank right now.

So it occurs to me, maybe we could try paying to recruit. What do you think, and what amount of money might you be willing to recruit X many people for?

I think it would be a good incentive to give ₮ as a reward. Maybe something like 1₮/10,000points or something. I guess a good equilibrium would have to be found.

longecity needs to advertise better on its own web site in my opinion.......... a link to the team and the team forum would be helpful .........people just passing by the web site would see it let alone longecitys own members.......... right now you have a roadside billboard with the advertisement on the backside a link to the team right under the sign in might get more people involved........ in any case every member signing in would see it..........................................rochester_new _york
