It is obvious that getting the finest nootropics and supplements can have a heavy price tag. Of course, our well beeing and quality of life is worth a lot, too :)

How much a year do you guys spend?

And up to how much a year would you be willing to spend?

I know this is a strange question, but sometimes when I mention to people I just bought 100$ of Deprenyl they freak out. I just want to see what is the difference between us and the "normal" people.

I just started nootropics, but Piracetam, aniracetam, choline, alpha-gpc, alcar, r-ala, fish oil and Deprenyl for a year is at least 800$ canadian.

Yeah you could point to the rat & dog studies on longevity to justify the cost of deprenyl, if that's the kind of thing you'd be interested in doing. I fucking hate it when people call me crazy over supplementation. Lifetime of deprenyl = maybe $2000. An extra 10 or even 20 years of life where I have a chance to retain good mental and physical condition too... well that's harder to put a price on.

Per year, I'd say 600 dollars for me, not counting protein.

Probably around $2400. That does sound a bit crazy.

Forget about the price you would put on years but what about quality of life. I would say that main area where people spend these days is to increase their so-called "Quality of life".

I spend roughly $1200 Australia or $100 per month or $25 per week or $3.50 per day. A coffee over here in Australia can now set you back $3.00.

Some people are willing to have a go at you for spending $100 on something that they do not even know about but still fork out about $3 a day for their daily fix of coffee.

lets do some calculations here....I bought 100grams of chocamine for $11.00 from bulknutrition and take 1 gram per day. So this is like 11 cents per servings. IMO chocamine stimulates better than a coffee so by taking chocamine I am saving myself $2.89 each day by not having the $3.00 coffee. whats that?.....$US1054 per year. Guess what....that's roughly how much I pay for supplements per year.

Does this mean I cut even?

Awesome!

By the way...did this person would made the comment about you spending $100 on deprenyl smoke?

It all comes down to choice. You made your choice and if people want to call you a freak for doing so then they can go to bed with a mirror and wake up to themselves.

I don't think you are a freak.
