My younger brother has OCD and mild Cerebral Palsy, and considering my success with suplements in combating my own depression and generalized/social anxiety, my mother has asked me if there is anything that can be done for my younger brother.

His cerebral palsy is not too bad, the physical effects are mild and he can walk, he is a bit slower at math and reading and has a slight stutter, but luckily he compensates in other areas and is able to do well in school without needing assistance.

However, his OCD and anxiety are growing to be quite a problem. He is just now hitting puberty(he is 13) and the effects are getting very strong. Both parents have history of anxiety. My mother's family has a history of anxiety and strong history of avoidant traits, and his father's(my stepfather) family has a very bad history of OCD and generalized anxiety, with one relative being institutionalized for it.

I am worried that he may have gotten the poor side of both families, and from my experience, just my mother's is bad enough.

Currently, his OCD is enough of a problem that it is interfering with his functioning. Many times, he will repeatedly sit and stand in a chair, and he constantly has an obsession in doorways of entering, exiting, and reentering. It also carries over to other tasks where he often has trouble doing things because he is obsessed with a particular aspect of the task such as issues with pencil points.

So, the question is:
Is there anything safe to give him at such a young age that could improve his outlook? In my stepdad's family it normally starts at puberty and gets worse from there. We want him to have the best future, but I don't know what to give a 13 year old with Cerebral Palsy, or if we should even delve into that without a psychiatrist. I don't want to cause any sort of regression or seizures, and I don't want him to be harmed.
