Has anyone, through DIY methods, literature review, communication with the authors of the original paper, or otherwise figured out what the active ingredient was in the C60 study? Was it the C60 itself, or did the C60 react with some molecular component of the olive oil?

This seems like it would be fairly low-cost to start examining if its still unanswered. I mean hell, if I can get professors at johns hopkins excited about C60s potential maybe someone in the chemistry department could measure exactly what's in the final mixture.
