I am currently trying to help my grandmother form a regimen.

She is in her late 60's, post-menopause, and obese. She recently had a metabolic, thyroid, cbc, and lipid blood panel done with no issues showing.

Issues to Address

Weight
She has always struggled with her weight, except when she smoked cigarettes. Her diet isn't the greatest, but she doesn't over eat. Obviously, diet and exercise could be the biggest source of health benefits, but she has tried everything over the years and always regains the weight.

So with all that said, I'm not asking for a weight lost regimen, but if it's pro weight loss, all the better. At this point, I'm just looking for a stack that will help her feel better, and be healthier, so that she might be inspired to be healthier in all areas.

Age
She is in her late 60's. I'm used to experimenting on myself with supplements (late 20's). I have to remind myself not to go overboard.

Anxiety
She's always been a worrier.

Inflammation
She has pain from inflammation. This has been called fibromyalgia by her doctor, however, I have a sneaking suspicion that its caused by the extra weight she has to carry around. Boswellia extract has helped reduce her pain.

Post-Menopause
She used to take estrogen supplements, but does not any more. This has caused moodiness.

Cold Sores (HSV-1)
She has the lip herpes.

Stack in Progress

Daily
  • ALCAR
  • Uridine
  • High DHA fish oil
  • Curcumin
  • Boswellia
  • Sesamin
  • L-Theanine
  • L-Lysine
  • Low-dose Aspirin
Nightly
  • Melatonin
  • Bacopa
Other things I am considering:
  • Lion's Mane Mushroom
  • Ashwagandha
  • St. John's Wart
  • Rhodiola Rosea
  • Liposomal Vitamin C
  • Bio-available Magnesium
  • Bio-available B-Vitamins
  • Trimethylglycine

Any thoughts?

Have you considered TA-65 / Cycloastragenol or Product B ?
I think Telomerase activation should be interesting for a person of that age.
Since it's new and rather cutting edge, it's probably best if she makes her own informed decision after learning more about it.
