Hello there everyone,

I am mixing powders of piracetam with noopept, sulbutiamine, and pramiracetam with an energy drink (Arizona's AZ energy).

Q. Am I causing a chemical reaction by mixing this energy drink with these Nootropics? In other words, could these nootropics become different chemicals when mixed with my energy drink and thus changing my desired results from taking them? ( On an anecdotal note I have been feeling much better since I have been taking them)

AZ Energy is favorite mixer as it really does a good job dissolving the powders and killing the bad taste of these nootropics. Also it is only $1 per can at the 99 cent store. It is made of 10% juice, has 200mg caffeine per serving, along with 52 grams of sugar [fructose-glucose syrup claiming 26 grams of glucose per can] and also contains 200 mg inositol, 2000mg taurine, 200mg panax ginseng, and 70 mg Milk thistle, along with B vitamins, etc....

Anyways, I know very little about chemistry but figure that there seems like a good chance that some chemical reactions must be taking place, but then again, this must also happen all the time during digestion, different substances are going to combine, break down etc.

But I figured there may be some brainiac chemist on here that may see some obvious reaction. From the little I learned about supplementation while working at GNC and reading through books, I have gleamed that some vitamins compete for absorption and such....I know you guys have gone over some things that are good to add (ie choline with racetams) but any interactions to be aware about?

I have been buying bulk powders from Amazon from the 3 companies that look like they all lead back to healthsupplementwholesalers.com

All the powders seem to be active substances (I can feel them) but just wondering about my mixology in the administration of the substances into my stomach :)

I always have this concern aswell. I usually just mix with water, wait 5 minutes between meals/drinks and then take the next one. Anyway, piracetam is water soluble and prami is fat soluble so i put two slices of toast between the two.

I drink energy drinks all the time and I still take noopept.
It has a synergized effect on me. Its actually really great.

That could be just be tho but I don't see any problems on my end.

I also take Noopept and Energy drinks, my focus is dramatically enhanced as is my wakefulness.

Not sure if it's a bad thing or not, maybe someone else can shed some light on the subject for us...

I don't so make take energy drinks as mix my Noopept with high doses of Caffeine from expresso coffee. Usually about 250 - 300mg of Caffeine a day. First thing in the morning it's done absolute wonders for me, making me able to focus and think clearly when normally I'd be grumpy, sleepy and slouched over my cup until about 8am.

A lot of energy drinks (Red Bull, Monster, V) contain Inositol which I believe is a good synergy with most nootropics.
