IM injections require a 5 micron needle filter when drawing from ampules to avoid glass shard injection. Do not use wheel filters. Weaker ampules like placentrex are terrible with glass shards and will cause injection site pain, granulomas etc from glass being injected.
[personal narrative]I'm 34yo, white male. I've used cerebro to recuperate from pre-dementia which I believe was onset by a wheat gluten and oat avenin protein sensitivity and made worse by several years of high fat, high protein diet. My skin has never been clear since grade school, and became worse the past 2 years as well as chronic brain fog. My previously enjoyable intellect had become mired in what seemed an inescapable sludge of confusion. I had resigned myself to never achieve anything more relying on my mind which had previously been my life's ambition. I had tried all the stimulant and racetam nootropics with limited and temporary success. After my very first dose I was relieved of months of brain fog. So much that I could recite many of my lines for a small play which I'd previously been frustratingly incapable of.
[assessment]I notice the nootropic effect on the first dose of 10mL. Most studies confirm this. Immediate effects like mood enhancement diminish after 8 hours. Long term effects persist for weeks or months perhaps years.
I've run cerebrolysin 10mL for 5 days and again for 15 days straight. I'm just beginning a 20 dose cycle (10mL/day). Xeno-tissues (non-human) tissues deplete glutathione and stress the body resulting in a malaise or temporary depression. To avoid this side effect supplement with NAC or inject glutathione during off days. I've noticed injecting glutathione with cerebrolysin almost completely eliminates positive effects. This is why I recommend glutathione injections on off days. Inject glutathione intramuscularly very slowly to avoid terrible site pain.
I highly recommend b12 injections into a fatty area (slower release) every 3 days. You'll know when you need more b12 because you'll yawn as if you'd not been on b12. B12 pills are no comaparison including methylcobalamin sublinguals.
Placentrex should improve cerebrolysin's effects with additional neurotrophic factors. I'll update soon with a report on ideal administration of the two supplements. At this time my best results have been cerebrolysin alone and placentrex 12 hours apart.
In the near future I would like to add actovegin to see if it enhances cerebrolysin's effects.
