I pretty much believe that this is possible or likely. There are a lot of sightings from people that seem credible. The native people where I live have a belief in a large, scary two-legged canid. When I hear about it the hair on the back of my neck stands on end, which doesn't normally happen to me. Sometimes when I've done emotional work and really go into anger, I snap, snarl and growl like a dog and I totally scare myself. Maybe these creatures are our own anger that is coming back to us in other forms, having taken independent life. Multiple cultures seem to report these beings.

No, I haven't seen a werewolf, but maybe one will post on this thread.

I think that's a bit discriminatory cos I'm a weredog.

Seriously though, I wouldn't doubt 100% that there is a grain of truth in what people have seen even if it's not what we think.

As for were-anything, there are therianthropes or people who believe that inside they are an animal or have the soul of an animal. I know that those exist because I've met some. They were actually decent people with jobs etc. but just felt "different" inside.

The last common ancestor of dogs and humans lived ~60 million years ago. Show me the closest living or dead relatives of "werewolves" and lets see if anything makes sense..

I'm torn between asking you to explain this, and totally not doing that.

Ark, you're out there.
