you can't reach all their minds because most of them are mad. they are psychologically invincible. common sens can't change them because their personality is making up excuses. If you want to change their minds you have to come in through their perspective and use their reasoning agent them until they can think reasonably. humans will take the easy way out unless the will of their individuality is stronger than the foe.

I have chronic depression that was really bad when i was 10-13. So there was a period where i almost commit suicide due to semi-nihilistic views, but was caught because i hesitated for a good hour. That leads to a unique story that ill mention somewhere else.
After i got over it i eventually realized that being in trauma is better than no experience at all, in a way its just a horrible case of impatience. If life is meaningless then theres no reason to live it, equally, no reason to not live it. A few years later something came up about euthanasia that made me revisit this.

Pain in any form, emotional or physical, is an evolutionary trait that tells us something is wrong, so if pain were adapted to death, and death, from an evolutionary perspective, is the worst thing that can happen, there would be no greater pain than death.
