car accident (whiplash), multi substance drug abuse, concussion, football for 10 years, poor diet as a child.. lets get this straight, i am completely aware the brain is a very plastic organ, however, given what my brain has been through, it deserves serious repair. a serious problem requires a serious solution. over the counter nootropics can only get a individual so far, and it appears that most of the members on this forum are already brain healthy people who are just looking for a little extra edge in day to day activities. And in this scenario, nootropics are a sufficient option, but there are some, like myself, who are truly suffering, and otc nootropics by themselves, are not a viable solution.
this is what i am on so far, some of these i have been on for over a month, some i just started. I feel like if my brain issues are comparable to an invading army, using these nootropics is like sending in a couple tanks, its time to bring out the big guns.
1. high dose fish oil
2. alcar
3. alpha gpc
4. ginko biloba
5.dha
im seeking more progressive treatment options. money is not an issue, and im willing to do anything and everything for my brain. i understand the brain has the capacity to heal, however, i need more viable options.
what has caught my attention so far, if there are any more you can think of, let me know, also, if there are any of these you do or do not like, explain why.
1. HGH (human growth hormone)
2. hyperbaric oxygen therapy
3. cerebroylsin
4. high dose amino acid therapy
my naturopath wants me to do number 4. would this yield permanent or temporary results ?
edit. this whole quest to find more radical treatments started when i read this article http://www.scientifi...verse-brain-dam
also when i heard cerebroylsin, i heard about both of these treatments on the same day, so i figured there are more options out there, options that have the potential to reverse brain damage, not just mitigate them.
