I got a new package of aniracetam from mindnutrition.com and the first thing I noticed is that it has practically no smell at all.
I just wanted to know if this is normal because I had a different batch from a different vendor that had a stronger smell (taste is bitter)
I wasnt really sure at the time but it smelled a bit like urine (If it was a complete piss smell I would have noticed)

Does a strong smell mean it is impure product if that is the case I can tell you the vendor sent me this.

I already bought aniracetam from mindnutrition and it always was odorless. It also has no taste when mixed with olive oil.
I think the first batch you had was certainly not pure or there were fillers added.

I've never gotten aniracetam with a urine smell, even in capped form with magnesium stearate (the most common filler). I can't imagine what legitimate filler would cause that, and in any case, there shouldn't be any filler at all if you've ordered bulk powder.

Which vendor was this from?

It was intellimeds.co.uk, you dont have that many options for bulk powder in europe
I didnt think too much of it back then because choline can smell a lot like fish, picamilon had some sweetish smell etc

Good to know, I should have been more suspiciuos.

Good aniracetam should have a distinct smell. I'm not sure what to say about odor-less aniracetam. Perhaps it is old and hasn't been stored properly?

I had the impression the other one wasnt stored properly since its hygroscopic and can take up moisture from the surroundings.
With the distinct smell of aniracetam would you say there it is a little ammoniac like?

The odorless ani has the same effects as the one that smelled by the way.

Pure Ani is nearly odorless and has a slight chemical taste.
The Ani i got from intellimeds were always fine.

Did it have no smell at all? The empty bag alone still had that smell and there was just a bit of aniracetam in it.

It is not 'nearly odorless'. Perhaps in small quantities. But if you get a big bag of it, say half a kilo, the smell is far more distinctive. As it ages, the smell gets less intense.

Its 50g in a tub and has no smell not stronger than maybe sugar has a smell so I smell practically nothing.

The other one had an unpleasant smell maybe a bit like homeless people would you say that ani can smell even remotely like that?

I have had 3 batches of Aniraceatam; 2 from cerebral health and one from Smart Powders. My current batch from Cerebral Health had a chemical like smell that was relatively potent. The other batches did not have an odour. Recently, I thought that the Aniracetam effects weren't working like they should or used to and my roommate did not like his experience on Aniracetam. I figured it was a product of a growing tolerance, but my opinion has become wary. My gut feel is that Aniracetam should have no smell and that this smell is part of the chemical process.

The aniracetam I was ordering in bulk always had a smell, it wasn't too strong in a small amount unless I was close to it. I've stopped order bulk powders though since it is fairly difficult to store a large amount of various powders.

The smell of the one that I find odorless is like going into a room that has been painted 3 days before but very very mild.
When you smell at sugar or flour then you will smell something but that doesnt mean they really have a distinct smell.
