Several years ago I was diagnosed with a skin condition known as Granuloma Annulare. The condition falls under the spectrum of Auto Immune disorders and is characterized by pinkish/red bumpy rashes.

For anyone interested, check out the attached photo(it's of the backside of my right hand). You might be able to notice a slight discoloration in certain areas on the skin surface(I have a very minor case).

My first bottle of C60 arrived yesterday. I'll start dosing today or tomorrow and will post photos of the rash if there are any noticeable changes, for better or worse.

Like most people on this fourm, I will be taking C60 in the hopes it will extend life. Monitoring the rash will serve as a litmus test to see if the C60 can ameliorate this type of skin inflammation.

Niner, I would appreciate your assistance here, if you will..

I know that you're currently taking a monthly C60 dose of 15mg.

Q: In light of the latest speculations that have been tossed around regarding C60's mechanism of action and assumed long term saturation point in the cell, how would you map out your C60 dosing schedule if you were just starting out today? From your initial dose, to weekly and monthly thereafter? How much, how often (based a loosely configured estimated dosage ratio of rats to humans)? How would you proceed?

I've read that this condition has been known to respond to anti-inflammatory steroids, so it's not inconceivable that you'll see some improvement.

There aren't any hard and fast dosing rules, but a lot of people who have been experimenting with c60-oo seem to be migrating toward lower doses (relative to the huge doses that some have tried) and also toward intermittent dosing. At 15 mg/month, I'm toward the low end of the dosing spectrum, but not the lowest. At once a month dosing, I'm toward the longer end of intermittency. My most recent 15 mg dose was spread over two meals. While this is how I'm proceeding at the moment, I'll try to keep everyone posted as to changes, which could certainly occur as we gain knowledge.

Yes, my dermatologist gave me a script for a cortisol cream and sent me on my way. He said the granuloma was nothing to worry about.

I'm a very health conscious individual and have been since my early teens. My diet's best described as a low calorie hybrid Paleo/Mediterranean. I practice mixed martial arts, boxing and weight training(weight training and boxing since my teens). I feel that I'm in excellent physcal condition.

I didn't take the cortisol cream because I wanted to know what was going on inside me that caused the granuloma to appear. After months of exhaustive research and all types of quirky doctors, I found out that my dhea/pregnenalone and progesterone levels were abnormally low. Ironically, my total and free testosterone were high. My osteopath concluded that I was a good converter of dhea to testosterone.

I've since been using a transdermal 70mg dhea/50mg pregnenalone cream prepared by a compounding pharmacist( I don't put the cream on the rash). Since I started using the cream 9 months ago, my pregnenalone/dhea and progesterone levels have all normalized and the granuloma has almost completely dissappeared on my left hand. It's about 50pct better on my right hand, with no noticeabe changes over the last 3 months. Also, my testosterone went up another 30points.

I tested positive on the Auto Immune scale -high on the ANA Titer test, and positve on the ANA screen so I don't think the low Dhea/Pregnenalone is the cause of my granuloma but normalizing these levels has certainly helped manage the condition.

Lets see what happens when I start taking C60.

Thanks for the details Niner. Looking forward to the 22nd Century :)
