I am a 33 years old man.
I can do biological/medical research, computer programming (general, internet, 3D, bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence), stock market monitoring and trading, text writing, and some design/engineering and organizing.
Also I am a fast learner, so I can expand my expertise in any other area if the need arises.

Jasmine1152 - Virtualization, Networking, Infrastructure Engineer. Strong in all technical areas except web, where I am average. No programming skills beyond basic scripting. Tech Journalist. Practical knowledge of medicine especially neuropsychopharmacology, diagnostic medicine, metabolism and epidemiology. Strong writer both technical and persuasive. Strong interpersonal skills, public speaking, interviewing, etc. Workaholic. Victory addict. Primary interests are technology and biology, especially where the two topics touch and intermingle. Strong interest in nanotechnology, nootropics, materials science. Organizer, brainstormer, complex system interactions and design work is my particular strength. Works well in details and in big picture. Needs grounding sometimes. Kiersey Personality Type: Rational Field Martial (ENTJ) (http://www.advisorte...32694&pid=91274).

Interested in contributing. Willing to use journalistic pull to draw attention to transhumanist subjects. My twitter account promotes both my technology journalism and my strong beliefs in transhumanism as well as future transhuman development.

Apparently I need a few more posts to change my display name. The press is never anonymous LOL.

Twitter is a useful tool. I use an application called tweetdeck. In it, I run searches, one per column. For instance, #transhuman #posthuman #singularity #h+ #evolution. For my tech work I use tags like #virtualization, #automation, etc.

Whenever anyone tweets something which contains that hashtag, I see it on my deck and can respond, or retweet it.

Some great transhumanist tweeters to follow:

Oracle @MikeAnissimov My fav.
Dirrogate @Dirrogate We disagree on a lot but he's definitely a maven.
Metavalent Stigmergy @metavalent broad topics of interest.
content @content this one keeps up on tech mostly.
Mormon Transhumanist @transfigurism these guys kill me, but at least they're on board.

I work mostly with electrical engineering, but have 9 years of experience as an technician. I can make automated processes happen, with full remote control and supervision.

I liked Quanticos suggestion about an easygoing billionaire. A good first step would be to have some members with experience from financing other type of projects to make a pro businessplan that can be presented to possible investors. Quite sure they would be interested in knowing exactly how the money would be spent, and what results that are realistic. Maybe start of with some of the more down to earth ideas :)

I certainly hope to participate in putting an end to involuntary death! Here's some of my skillsets, hopefully they can fit into this ambitious mission statement!
My general skillsets: Joomla website design, SEO, event marketing, video content, ad copy writing, podcasting, B2B tech sales, I speak Spanish
My specific skillsets: online ecommerce systems (creating marketplaces), Google maps API integration, writing sales telemarketing scripts, creating educational websites, nightclub mobile marketing strategy, creating really killer headlines and taglines, podcast audience retention ecampaigns, split testing craigslist ads, websites for firearms related companies (might not be good for ending involuntary death), dual n-back cognitive training, self control training, breakdancing

At this point I realize I have no fully developed skills relevant to Longecity goals. Nonetheless, that is about to change in the next years as a part of my ongoing academic education in Neuroscience.

My non directly relevant, humble, skills could be: Interested in dietary supplements and nootropics, Spanish and English languages, good with computer hardware, some Psychology knowledge, being an intellectual oriented person, love for knowledge and science and experience working with the public (receptionist).

Does accepting your fate mean you're not interested in helping us to fight aging? I won't hate you if that is indeed your stance. Would be a shame though...creative thought is always needed here. :)

It's great to have people from China volunteering to help out. China is a powerhouse of getting stuff done faster and cheaper and a movement for life extension in China would definitely have some great results. I am eager to see China "jyah you" or "add gas" to the movement as the expression for "getting it done" goes in Chinese.

Jyah you! China Jyah you!

You should also introduce yourself in the introductions forum. Your post could use a little work though, it's not clear what you're offering to do to help out.

I am an 18 year old high school student with a passion for knowledge and self-enhancement. I cannot say I have a wide skill-set, but I would say that I am generally apt at reasoning, analytical thought, learning. I have a behemoth memory for facts which always comes in handy I have found. I am currently teaching myself Python which I will use to analyze data I will be gathering from self-enhancement self-experiments. I would also like to create a text based adventure game with Python among many other things. I am also a capable organizer of information with spreadsheets and such. It is great to see a post like this; hopefully we can begin to organize some projects to funnel our talents into soon.

I'm studying Biomedical Engineering and have access to journal papers and at the moment I'm particularly interested in nootropics. Also I've done some coursework and person research into interfacing neurons with silicon microcircuits.

Aside from that I've been writing music most of my life and I like to think I'm a pretty creative person.

I'd say a cross between dance music and soundtrack music. You can listen to my latest project at soundcloud[dot]com/talismusic I'm planning to sing on some of the tracks but haven't had the chance to put the time into coming up with something good.
