Anyone knows any effective treatment for NLD? All the information I found online doesn't say anything about treating it, but it appears to improve quite consistently over time. I just don't know whether it will start worsening once I start aging.

And yes, of course I considered talking to a doctor.

I have changed my mind about this thread. Could a moderator kindly delete it?

I guess a mod hasn't deleted this, since I'm posting here, but if you mean Non-verbal Learning Disorder, I was diagnosed with that too, so I'd like any info anyone has, as well.

It does improve with time, especially if some behavior therapy is included. Social skills are just that: skills.

People with dyslexia have a learning disorder that makes it harder for them to learn how to read. But with time, effort, and often some individual attention from an expert, people with dyslexia still do learn how to read well. They may never become world-renowned authors, but they can read well enough to function in everyday life.

Nonverbal learning disorder is similar. It makes it harder to learn social skills, especially those unrelated to language, but it does not make it impossible. The learning process can be sped up by working with any expert in teaching social skills, such as a therapist.
