I've recently done 2 15% TCA peels and while my skin isn't destroyed, I'm not convinced TCA peels do anything beneficial for the skin. My skin looks/feels dry and there is no visible improvement other than a light fading of some scars. I can't imagine why anyone would push a TCA peel over something like microdermabrasion.

If used correctly, TCA peels can do wonders for your skin. If you have the down time for recovery. Microdermabrasion is highly overrated IMO. I'd rather do a 40% glycolic peel and see real results.
