Like Niner, I used to be a big iHerb person, until they cut down VIP rates, and then they cut down on free samples... then raised shipping rates on small orders. I still sometimes use them, but not as often as before. Swanson's is good... I also have used Pure Formulas when I want something nobody else usually carries (like Thorne) as they offer free shipping, even on small orders. Amazon sometimes has real good deals, as does Costco.

But... regarding brands, I rarely if ever use house brands, unless they also state a brand name ingredient. Otherwise expect the company to rely on 3rd party testing on an ingredient most likely sourced from China.

I'm not especially fond of them, but it depends a bit on the supplement itself. And if it's a branded ingredient or not.

By branded ingredient, I mean something like meganaturals grapeseed (swanson brand), or Meg-3 fish oil (VS brand). And I am fine with those -- I have actually used their grapeseed extract myself too (it's cheap).

But I am not so fond of something like a house brand with no sourcing info provided at all. House brands of generic herbs with no source mentioned scare me.
