I wonder if Pregnenolone is as good as the statement made there:
"PREGNENOLONE: THE GRANDMOTHER OF ALL STEROID HORMONES
Bill, a sixty-eight-year-old engineer from Park City, Utah, says, “I find pregnenolone to be a powerful memory booster. Ever since I started taking 5 mg three times a week, I remember phone numbers and names much easier.”
Most users of pregnenolone (Preg), find this hormone to help with learning and memory, mood and energy, speed of thinking, verbal fluency, concentration and focus, creativity, vision, hearing, awareness, and sensory perception. Some even report an enhancement in sex drive and sexual enjoyment.
Preg is primarily made in the adrenal glands from cholesterol, but it can also be made in other tissues, including the brain. I call Preg the “grandmother of all the steroid hormones” since the body uses it to convert into DHEA, progesterone, and other steroid hormones (see Figure 14.1). Human research with Preg is very limited but several rodent studies have shown it to be a powerful memory enhancer (Flood 1995). "
mmmm?
