Tenoten is a an anxiolytic medication comprised of antibodies to the brain-specific protein S-100B. Higher prevalence of the protein S-100B has been found in patients having had a previous ischemic issue, as well as those with general cognitive impairment. The studies I keep seeing look fairly promising, though the studies seem a little limited. Here's one of importance in terms of Tenoten's nootropic efficacy:

Abstract

Tenoten is a new anxiolytic and antidepressant based on antibodies to brain-specific protein S-100B. Experimental studies demonstrated the effect of tenoten on mechanisms of neuronal plasticity and manifestations of higher nervous activity. Tenoten is clinically comparable with amitryptiline, sertraline, and phenazepam, but does not produce potent sedative relaxation effect typical of these drugs. The study demonstrated considerable improvement of the control over brain frontal compartment effector functions. Tenoten is recommended not only at the stage of moderate cognitive impairment, but also in manifest cerebrovascular pathologies characterized by pronounced impairment of the regulatory functions of the frontal compartments of the brain.

Now, I can't seem to find any reference online to anyone that's tried this. I'm highly considering getting it to try, but I'm curious about other peoples' opinions of this. It's been around for something like 6-7 years now I believe, and received very little press/acknowledgement. That said, the studies I've seen have found it to have a very small side-effect profile.
