Oh sorry I didn't mean to offend or otherwise upset anyone with the question, so I apologize if I did. Why would you ask that by the way? If its a dumb question just let me know and I will kindly ask it to be removed. does there really have to be a reason besides Im just interested in knowing that there are actually students and scientists on here actually within the field. I mean all of my hero's are people working within the field even those no one has ever heard of. To me Dr. Aubrey de Grey is god even though Im an atheist, heh. Im really sick at the moment and was studying chemistry in college with in interest in life-span extension before I got sick and once I get better I hope to go back and earn my Ph.D. Laugh all you want guys but I can and will do it. I have a strong interest in biomedical gerontology specifically RepleniSENS, LysoSENS and AmyloSENS so I would love to work for Dr.Aubrey de Grey one day researching those areas. Thats my dream anyway. I find RepleniSENS , LysoSENS and AmyloSENS to be the most achievable the soonest. I actually would like to hear which of the seven SENS treatment schemes scientists or even students here find most promising or even just people who know a lot about Dr. Aubrey de Greys seven treatments and what they think of each of them. i think his plan is the most promising of achieving with in our lifetimes and would allow us enough time, if his regentive medical therapies turn out towork, to live indefinitely.
Plus maybe I could network with students and even scientists here someday, learn more about the best schools for biomedical gerontology ( not at the moment however because I live in severe chronic pain and also been diagnosed with "severe insomnia due to pain" by a sleep specialist here in Connecticut named Dr. Konstantinova. I am also seeing a pain management doctor Dr.Sood but even with pain management my pain still keeps me up all the time and makes living a normal life impossible amd Im currently bed-ridden because I can barely walk because of muscle atroohy, myopaphy and neuropathy in my left leg. so if my posts seem to sound stupid thats because I literally have only gotten 2 to 3 hours of sleep in the past two years and its really messed up my intelligence, focus, memory, etc. big time) I was going to University of New Haven , but Im looking for great schools with good biomedical engineering programs with an emphasis on human life-span extension if I ever get better which my doctor says may be possible but I just started seeing him and he says its going to take time until we fimd the right pain meds for me.Anyway maybe my plight has moved you and you will let me knowmif your a scientist out of sympathy for someone who lives in excruciating physical pain eveyday of his life or you could be rignt maybe it was just a dumb question to ask in the first place if it is just call me out on it and I will have the thread removed.
