Hello, I am new to forums and piracetam but I read something about it and I'd like to ask what kind of dosages you suggest? I should divide the dosage throught the day like taking 800mg morning and 800mg evening, right? Also what should I take it with, I heard Choline should be taken about 1:4 ratio depending on person. I'd like to know what is the Cholines part with the piracetam intake?

I am 19 yo, 100kg/180cm

All the best

Also about the choline, I see there is many different types of choline. I can only get Choline bitartrate easily so should that work just fine?

It can be fairly stimulating so I would try to take it no less than 4 hours before bed.

A dose of about 4 grams a day is ideal. If you have 800mg pills taking that is fine.

For the first few days take no more than 2 grams in a day and increase by 800-1000mg each 5-10 days.

Alpha GPC is a choline source and better than choline barb by a mile.

Ractams can cause a lot of acetylcholine to be used up leading to the body running low on choline (acetyl is abundant) from all the synthesis causing the body to run out of acetylcholine which can cause nasty side effects including the famed choline headache.

Alongside a nootropic stack you should be taking 1-2 grams of omega 3, a b vitamin complex and a multi vit.

Thanks for you info! So what is your opinion on bitartrate? It's kinda burdensome to get any other choline types in my country where even piracetam is illegal. lol

It doesn't cross the blood brain barrier (BBB). Which means it has to go though at least one metabolic pathway before its turned into a substance that can cross the BBB. Alpha GPC crosses the BBB quickly.

Ok so in practice that does mean? I can use bitartrate but it doesn't work as good as Alpha GBC?

And what do you suggest to take with Piracetam to get the maximum out of it?

It means you can use it but its a waste of cash.

Sulbutramine, DLPA, Noopept, omega 3, B vit complex, multi vit and ALCAR would be a good place to start.

Ok so what do you think about this?

2400mg piracetam / d
600mg Alpha-GBC / d
omega + multi

My goal is to improve studying perfomance. Caffeine is also used (300mg/d).

B vit complex is important.
Increase the piracetam to 3000mg/day in three doses

DLPA and/or sulbutramine are also important otherwise that's fine.

Ok, can you suggest where to buy Alpha-GBC in Europe?

And what is your suggestion on b vits? I eat very well and variety.

This is for 1 month (that is how long I have to study and I want to try nootropics):

Morning:
1600mg Piracetam
600mg Alpha-GBC
Multi vitamin

Midday:
1600mg Piracetam

Evening:
2000mg omega-3
22,2mg Zinc
600mg Magnesium
4,2mg Vitamin B6

I will change it with feelings and tell if you would add something. Very appreciated!

Should I take Alpha GPC with every Piracetam intake or is morning only enough?

Hi, I am with the same problem.

I am taking only 800mg piracetam for each 5hours block of study.

If I study 10 hours in a day, I will take 800mg piracetam two times.

I need to take piracetam all day or only before study?

What will happen if I take it only while studying?

It seems as though other members recommend 4.5g per dose, based on dosages used to several research papers. Is there a consensus on dosages in the 4g to 5g range?

Thanks

4g to 5g every day? I am only taking 800mg or 1.6g and I can feel the difference.

Not that I am more smart... but my focus is better, You can think that it is just a placebo effect.

But I tell you that it is not just a placebo. The chemistry in my head are diff now.

I was already in a heavy study program before piracetam.. so I know how it was before and now.

I think ADAM from NOW Nutrition fits the bill. It's a multi at heart but contains high doses of B vitamins as well. I've been using it for quite some time with good results.

4g to 5g every day? I am only taking 800mg or 1.6g and I can feel the difference.

Actually, 400 / 800mg doses 3x / day is the usual medical recommendation. Doses above 4.8g are used for special cases like stroke, or for reasons which have more to do with its anticoagulant properties than with its nootropic effect (e.g. 10g for prevention of deep-vein thrombosis).

Personally, I've never felt the need to go above 2.4g. At high doses it acts almost like a sedative, blunting emotions and making me sleepy.

Thanks for you post valkyr. What does your current stack/dosage consist of?

Thanks for you post valkyr. What does your current stack/dosage consist of?

Well, I'm still experimenting, but I'm currently on piracetam (1.8 - 2.4g / day divided in 3 doses), noopept (40mg / day in 2 doses) and some lecithin, usually 1200mg / day. I've also tried ALCAR.

So far I've found ALCAR to be pretty helpful with motivation and energy and piracetam helpful overall especially for improving speaking skills and social interaction. Piracetam has given me some headaches and brain fog unless taken with lecithin but even then, it's inconsistent ... some days I feel on top of the world, almost verging on mania, other days it just doesn't do that much. Noopept is what I'm currently testing. It seems to have good synergy with piracetam, but I'm struggling to find the right doses - you can check my "Noopept log" thread to see how that's going. Will update it soon.

Smart Drugs for Thought sells to UK as far as I know, and they have a decent list of nootropics available.

For a simple Piracetam stack, I would suggest CDP Choline, and L-Theanine. After about of dosing I would possibly recommend either Pramiracetam, or Aniracetam to be included into your stack as they both have differing receptors that will be stimulated and work well with Piracetam at the same time. I just recently got some Noopept in so I can't comment personally about adding it to your stack, however I see that many people do include Noopept into their Piracetam/Nootropic stacks.
