Here's another interesting technology:

Is this blood-spinning thing being used for conventional medical treatments as well?

For instance, what if someone suffered an hameorrhagic stroke or a tear in their heart? Could this be used to heal tissue faster?

Sounds like a great technology, a stepping stone to more advanced regenrative treatments. Yet, reading the article makes me angry. I am really starting to get teed off at the sports leagues around the world. They are putting up roadblocks to biotech advances. In the U.S., the congress is stepping in to control and ban any substances that promote muscle growth or rapid healing. Why? To keep Hank Aaron's home run record pristine. Are we supposed to sacrifice our lives in order to protect old sports records?!!!! I have no problem with sports leagues setting thier own rules. Just leave me out of it.
