Hey, so my latest trial is with npep-12(oral cerebrolysin) and mexidol and as of today just added dexedrine. This is the best or most normal i've felt in a long time. I've used dexedrine before but i always felt extremely anxious even though it helped with some aspects of anxiety. It was also a very uneven buzz and felt recreational rather than therapeutic. I would feel totally normal for an hour or so then i would get a feeling of despair in the pit of my stomach then back to feeling normal(not sick). It also made me feel like i was on the edge of going insane.

As i am writing this i am at the point where normally i would be crashing and feeling like i made a mistake. Usually my mind would be racing uncontrollably and my body totally void of pleasurable feelings.

Mexidol is a powerful antioxident with some extremely novel actions such as enhancing gaba, benzodiazepine and acetylcholine receptor binding and membrane stabilization. A lot of the negative effects of amphetamine are due to oxidative stress, it feels like it completely disables the ability of dex to cause neurotoxicity.

npep-12 helps transport glucose across the bbb and generally aids in glucose metabolism insulin sensitivity etc. I think this is helpful because dex causes the brain to use lots of glucose and eventually crashes due to a lack thereof. similar to a sugar crash.

I have tried everything for amphetamine tolerance/side effects and this is what i was hoping for everytime, everything else fell short.Tried all the stuff mentioned by medievil(crayzymed) et al, sarcosine was the closest but it felt dirty and abolished the antidepressant effect.

this is obviously a preliminary report so i will keep it updated if anyones interested but i waited until the effects wore off to post so its not one of those manic half cocked glowing reports you sometimes see.

I've tried the ciltep stack, piracetam, aniracetam, phosphatidylserine, bacopa, ashwaganda, ginko biloba, modafinil, vinpocetine, rhodiola, , citicholine, dmae, huperzine a, idebenone, coq10, icariin, acetylcarnitine, selank, sarcosine, glycine, dxm, tianeptine, amt, adaptol, afobazole, tenoten, bromantane, proglumide, picamilon, phenibut, candesartan, ondansetron, buspirone, methylphenidate, ssri's, snri's, maoi's, neuroleptics, anticonvulsants, beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, dopamine agonists, benzos, and a ton more i cant think of right now.

Theyr all weak sauce compared to this stack though if you combine the efficacy and lack of side effects . That is in my case anyway i should mention my core symptoms are anhedonia, asthenia, social anxiety and attention deficit. When i say attention deficit i mean i have trouble with my relationship to thought. I can't choose to stop thinking about something or what to think about, i have a really hard time making myself do things(to the point where i have seriously considered suicide) and my thoughts are never conducive to bettering my life.I think the attention deficit is the cause of the other symptoms. Opiates and dextroamphetamine are the only things that ever really helped and dex just had to many side effects no matter what i stacked with it. Until now. I just hope it doesn't eventually shit the bed on me.

Thats not good to hear the issues you are having bro. I know what your saying though, I notice that when many people get in that state of mind its like a spiral, hard to get the mind focused on naturally occurring positive thoughts, I am glad you have found something that's working for you so far, keep us posted

thanks, yeah its a tough spot to be in, i've actually since dropped the dexedrine just to see if the n-pep-12 and mexidol was actually what was making the difference and so far that seems to be the case! Cerebrolysin has some amazing effects, it performs better than the brains natural neurotrophic factors for repairing brain lesions and hippocampal abnormalities as well as lots of other positive things. i think next week i'll drop the mexidol and see if all my positives are really just from the npep.

One very positive effect i have noticed is my sense of humor has returned i had lost it years ago , my sense of humor is pretty unique so it kind of defined me so having it back is really cool.

Another thing is my observational field has expanded, which i cant really explain... it almost makes me think i have a touch of autism or aspergers. I am less irritated and startled by things i'm not trying to focus on if that makes any sense.

the mexidol definitely has anxiolytic effects with no apparent adverse effects and the increased cognitive function from the n-pep-12 allows me to control my anticipatory thinking better. when i add dexedrine it increases social motivation but i'd rather not be relying on something addictive so i'm trying not to use it.

Well, that's encouraging man...hope it doesn't peter out for you. Sounds exactly like what I need. Although, I'm actually feeling some anxiolytic effects from Zembrin at the moment. I thought it was the combo of Zembrin plus Etifoxine, but today I just took the Zembrin and I can feel it. When I take the two together it's almost too much...

Again, we'll see how it holds. BTW, where do you get the n-pep-12?

That's a bummer. Seemed like the mexidol was providing some anxiolytic benefits. Did it peter out?

Still thinking about trying it for it's antioxidant properties since I think I still have brain toxicity from Lyme Disease. Currently trying some Curcumin based on a recommendation from a Lyme specialist along with Zembrin. But, the Zembrin seems to have petered out a bit.

Also, still trying Ladasten and it's kinda crazy. If I don't take it everyday it really seems to help! Took a 50mg today and can really feel the anxiolytic effect. But, I don't seem to get the same feeling everyday :(

a little yeah plus it was giving me a bit of a hangover effect. Thats too bad about the zembrin, hopefully the ladasten keeps working like that by alternating days or something. I used to take curcumin with bioperine it was helpful at the time.

@socialpiranha: What are your impressions of memoprove now? Are you still using it? How do you like it and do you feel it was worth the money?

I have stopped taking it because it was increasing my anxiety and insomnia. I did notice some very clear nootropic qualities in regard to mental acuity and memory etc similar to taking modafinil plus a racetam. I plan to revisit it as soon as i have my anxiety and insomnia under control, i really think it has great potential.
