I believe there's a place to create a forum for complaints, as lots of them are heathen and I get to see in some members posts haphazardly, for example:

[>] http://www.imminst.o...t=0

[>] http://www.imminst.o...t=0

It won't be good to lose valuable members because of ignorance or treatment problems.

This should make it easier to notice...

My earnest suggestion and proposal.

To the powers that be here:

1. Please do not erase any post.

2. Please just place posts which you feel should be erased, in the catcher section.

3. Please leave a note in the place from and in the place to telling readers that a post has been moved from place from to place to.

4. Same also with a post you have edited.

Members and Visitors who have a complaint, are invited to use this forum ("suggestions") if personal communication fails.

Caliban,
Maybe you should create a pinned topic with these words, members won't feel comfortable to complain, unless there's a specific place for that, that encourages them that it is ok...

I notice that it's not always done, the relocation of a post, notices in place from and in place to. And it's not done conspicuously.

Also the powers here can and do delete and not give any notice of deletion.

And they also do editing which of course it's their office, but they should also relocate the edited message untampered, a copy that is, to the catcher section, with notices in place from and in place to.

To the credit...

Yet, I must salute the powers here that they have shown so far in my experience with moderated boards, the most tolerant behavior.

And notwithstanding my observation which can be wrong, of partiality in specific cases, they try their best to maintain a professional attitude and actuation, in the midst of provocations.

I mean what I say here, really -- not just to flatter the powers here.

At the risk of agreeing with susma....

"Also the powers here can and do delete and not give any notice of deletion."

There may have been....what on your end was considered special circumstances, and my complaining about it...OK ranting about it was not tactful (you can still read it...free speech or catcher) but it really left a deep distrust on my end.

[I've left out the details but would be happy to provide them regarding exactly what the post's content was if anyone deems it relevant]

Living such note, Susma, Scott - - would have something like remaining the original post. The idea is to remove it due it not being related and appears as somewhat spam.

I think they should simply put a link with the following: Off-Topic
Which links you to the post...
