Also highly variable rates of voluntary reflexes (could be due to attention problems) and moderately less coordinated than most people.
I have overactive reflexes such as:
Blinking or eye-clenching when anything non-transparent nears my eyes (even slowly) or is traveling rapidly in my direction. Extremely strong reflex when anything touches my eye-lashes. The reflex from nearing the eyes/rapid movement is the most abnormal. For example, if something is thrown to me, my eyes clench, and the muscles around my eyes contract. Same thing also happens at eye exams or when attempting contacts (which I obviously can't do)
Very reactive gag reflex when encountering unpleasant stimuli (taste, see, or smell). Also when touching back of tongue, but I don't know the norm for that so can't judge it.
Moderately worse startle reflexes
As a general pattern, reflexes
I do not have GAD or depression, but I do have social anxiety and ADHD-PI as well as some fibromyalgia-like symptoms(don't know if it is actually fibro or something to do with chronic allergies to something present at all times of the year) and restless legs primarily at night (could be related to ADHD).
My potassium levels are normal, 4.2mmol/L when normal according to my bloodwork paper is 3.5mmol/L- 5.2mmol/L. Calcium levels were at the upper limit (10.2mg/dL when normal is 8.7mg/dL-10.2mg/dL), and blood glucose after fasting for 12 hours was high at 103mg/dL when normal is 65mg/dL-99mg/dL (though that is only one sample, and I don't know my normal blood sugar).
Anyone have any idea what could cause this?
Non-sedative herbs or well tolerated medicines that could help with this?
Any specific routines/exercises to help with this?
Not really a huge deal, but I am wondering if solving the root of this problem would help also with the other problems.
Thanks.
