Hey!

So I just recieved an order of Magnesium L-Threonate from Ebay. It tastes a bit like soap?! Can anyone please confirm what it is supposed to taste like, if anything? I want to make sure I'm not just actually eating soap powder! The seller is legit (top-rated seller etc) and the manufacturer is axenic.us

Thanks

I still have a few Source Naturals Magtein caps. I opened one and tasted the small amount in the top of the cap. It has a flavor that doesn't taste like a strong soap, but could be called vaguely soapy. I'd describe it as more chalky with a hint of a flavor. Filler ingredients are silica and magnesium stearate.

I put some powder into a glass of room temperature water and it's not readily soluble. If it's soap you'll probably know it if you put it in some water and blow bubbles with it.

If you're still in doubt about it get in touch with the seller, ask for a CoA.
