Hello,

I have recently bought 5g of Tianeptine Sodium powder to trial out but I cannot find any information on the difference in dosing methods.

Taking 12.5mg tablets TID but it is a tad bit expensive for me to do so (factoring shipping costs to Australia too) in the long run and so I was wondering if the same dose of Tianeptine powder can be measured and mixed with some water to be taken before meals? or does it specifically need to be capped? And if so, is there any particular reason why (again, I can’t seem to find any information)?

I have also read of some anecdotal evidence from a longecity member (lynx) taking it sublingually producing a stronger effect, however that was a 25mg+ dose. Is sublingual dosing of Tianeptine a valid method of absorption akin to dosing with tablets? Or does it cause it to be absorbed too quickly to be effective therapeutically?

Thank you for your help. J

I benefit from powder under the tongue for anti-depressant/ anxiolytic/ nootropic effects. Much higher doses than 20mg seem the same as 20mg. I have to make sure to keep it dry, keep the main stock in a very sealed bag. With my smaller dosing pouch closed unless I'm administering it. I use a $25 Gemini-20 scale.

Sublingual works. I generally take it in #3 gel capsules though. It is fairly poorly soluble in water. I find 50mg to be the dosing sweet spot.

Would be interested to know what effects you were looking for when you chose to try tianeptine, and what effects have you experienced?
