Anyone who have OCD have taken noopept and reduced their OCD condition?

I found this: http://en.wikipedia....ulsive_disorder

Noopept has something to do with the BDNF..

My mother and my grandmother on my mothers side of the family both have OCD. So I guess I might be predisposed to it, but honestly if OCD is an anxiety related disorder, I think I might just have the anxiety side of it. It could however grow to full blown OCD as I age, as to this I have no idea what I might expect. Noopept definitely reduces anxiety, but it has a honeymoon phase and it lasted about three weeks for me. After these three weeks further noopept use severely irritated me and sent me into an anxious depressive state while severely cognitively inhibited. Luckily the worst of this passed after just two days. So I really doubt whether it can actually cure or even be considered a good treatment for OCD. However you could give it a shot. Just don't overdo it cause you might make things worse for yourself.

I can't see noopept doing much of anything for you.

Follow a standard treatment algorithm instead.

Noopept only works for me on occasion, but it helps to reduce procrastination It also helps me stay on task, which helps to keep obsessive thoughts out, understandably.

Thanks for the replies all!

I started taking noopept 5-10 MG yesterday, and already my mind is very focused, incredible concentration, mind clear as crystal, facial tics are reduced by a lot! my OCD is much more numb, got more motivation, feel less anxiety, feel quite comfortable and smooth, mental chatter reduced by a lot. overall head feels just very light like I don't have anything to worry about, everything looks much more simple.. yesterday I only took noopept 2 times and already then I felt the effects, and now it's a new day and haven't yet taken another dosage and yet I feel great!! I heard that the noopept effects don't go away immediately after stopping taking it, but this really confirms it for me! (of course I will keep taking it everyday and see where it takes me!

But damn, this noopept is just great!!!!!!!!
It gives a certain calm HIGH!

This comes from a guy who is constantly anxiety through the day, no motivation, social anxiety that makes me freeze all over.. OCD that rapes me from every direction. though I don't know yet how it helps me with social anxiety.

I'm amazed the Noopept has done you any good but I'm sure you give about as much of a shit as I do. I'm happy its working for you!

I'd leave the dose at the same for a few weeks now, further improvements should come about without needing to increase it.

It has been about 8-9 hours since last time I took a dose (only one time today)

And this is just INCREDIBLE! physically and mentally I HAVE SO MUCH ENERGY!! POWER!!! perhaps a little bit ecstatic?? I don't know but it feels like you are on the top of the world and are able to break a wall! everything makes me feel good! OCD Is almost completely destroyed, anxiety as well!

I must be really responding very well to noopept!

Yesterday I fell asleep around 1:00, I woke up today at 7:30 completely refreshed, full of energy not slightest bit of tiredness, like I have slept 10 hours straight without any interuption!!! this is amazing!!!

This works so great that I am so afraid the corrupted FDA will ban this. :(

It is truly great you are rid of your OCD symptoms, but from a third person perspective, your super-enthusiastic response seems a lot like hypomania/mania.

My advice would be to eat properly and go to bed before midnight every night, even if you feel like you do not need to bother with eating or sleeping. If I am right and your response is hypomanic/manic, too little food or sleep can make it worse. If you find yourself inclined to spend a lot of money or bet it in a gambling situation, or if you feel an abnormally strong urge for sex, those would also be indicators.
