Just interested to hear what people have to say about this.. I woke up in a bit of a hurry today, went downstairs, noticed I was "flustered" and didnt feel great. Checked my pulse, and it was fast so I timed it.

Almost 100 BPM.

I took a teaspoon of himalayan sea salt in water and checked 30 minutes later and it was down to 58.

Whats going on ? I am pretty worried that it got this high... I will keep checking in the morning

The next time it happens, try drinking the water without salt in it, and checking 30 minutes later. I bet it will drop to whatever your normal rate is. Hard to say what caused it. How was your blood sugar? You mentioned that you were in a hurry- were you in a higher-than-normal anxiety state?

Drinking water with a teaspoon of salt works for me as well.

Sounds like adrenaline.. shoots through the roof upon wakeup for me. Sodium lowers it.
